Here is a short review of two new cosmetics I have bought from Superdrug. The Accessorize black liquid eyeliner (£3.50), and the MeMeMe Lash Attack black mascara (£7.50).
This mascara has a nice thick brush that isn't too large, and the bristles manage to coat each lash individually, avoiding spidery eyes. I have never used MeMeMe products before so I thought I would give them a go! I have noticed though, that because I bought this mascara a while ago, they have updated the packaging. So keep your eye out for a sleeker product on shelves!
Here are my lashes after two coats. I know it doesn't look very impressive, but please bare in mind that my eyelashes are almost inexistant! Therefore this mascara has actually worked wonders on my short stubbies :) I love it! Overall I would give it a 8/10, it could do with adding a bit more volume!
I was a bit disapointed with the Accessorize eyeliner because, as you can see from the photo above, the nib is all 'messy'. Its not a fine nib, it looks like it has been stabbing a hard surface, as the tip is blunt. This resulted in it being very difficult for me to draw an even fine line on my eyelid. However the colour is nice and dark, and the formula is smooth and long lasting. Overall I would give it a 5/10, as I can hardly use it.
