From the 27th until the 29th April, the Cake International Decorating & Baking Show is coming to the ExCeL in London for a weekend of yummy goodness! The show will bepacked with many great displays, plus all the latest supplies and ideas in the world of cake decorating and baking, along with some fabulous exhibitors.
They will also be holding demonstrations which last 45 minutes each and cost only £5 each. Some of the top demos in my opinion are: Chocolate Paste Decorations, Edible painting on cake, Modelling Animals and Cupcake Ideas, Designer Handbag Cake Design, and Quick and Easy Cake Decorating with a Wow Factor.
I will be attending the event, and I can't wait to see all the display cakes and hopefully watch some demonstrations to see how all the hard work is done. I love all things cake and cupcake, and decorating is something I wish I could improve on, so hopefully I will pick up a few tips while I'm there! I'm also hoping to maybe purchase some new tools and equipment for my home baking hobby.
There will also be chocolate craft workshops being held, where you can see how to decorate a cupcake using Renshaw chocolate. And in 'The Bakery Theatre' there will be LIVE baking demonstrations with Paul De Costa Greaves. This will be a great opportunity to watch and pick up baking skills and tips.
The show is held by International Craft & Hobby Fair Ltd, and they also host an exhibition at the Birmingham NEC in November. If you would like to buy tickets for the show or find out more information, click here. The tickets cost only £10 each if bought in advance.
