On Sunday I had a quick look around the carboot sale. The weather was pretty glum but humid, and lots of sellers turned out, but not that many buyers. Although, there was hardly any decent stalls, I only bought from 4 different people. But I did get some pretty good stuff! Check out this little haul...
Thats right, Benefit and Bare Minerals!
I got these two from two different girls, both for 50p each. The High Beam looks not even used, it's still a full bottle! And I've checked online to see if it's a fake, and it appears real! Bargain. I'm not sure how much is in the That Gal, but it is in perfect condition, the girl said she just didn't see any use for her. My Dad said it looks like a Pritt Stick (tut!). I've wanted to try both of these for a while now, so I'm very pleased.
These little Benefit minis were from the same girl as That Gal. She said she got them as a gift but had no use for these 3, part of a set of minis. I got the Foamingly Clean facial wash, Triple Performing facial emulsion, and Its Potent eye cream, all for £1. I love the glass bottle of the emulsion! Has anyone tried these?
Also from the same girl, I got this Bare Minerals 'Frisky' blush powder. She said she's never used it, so it was £1! It's amazingly pigmented, I would probably even buy this one full price in future! It's great to be able to try it at such a low price first though.
And then also from the same girl (she was a sweetie) I bought this perfect sign Keep Calm and Have a Cupcake, for myself! I saw this in Dunelm about a month ago, but I thought it was a little over priced for £5! But I bought it from the girl for only £1 :) Love it very much!
I've got a bit of a thing for vintage glass, especially jars and cake stands, so when I came across this vintage silverware glass bon bon jar, I was in love! It had a label on it for £5, but I picked it up and the lady said that all of the labels are wrong, and from her antique shop, and that it was actually 50p! So I just had to buy it! I love the solid glass, I think it would make a good prop for a photo of an individual cupcake. Or as a bonbon jar.
I bought these 3 clothing items for £1 total, which is a bargain! However, the two tops are too large for me, so I've given them to Mum, they are pretty though. The jeggings are just Primark ones, but they were brand new, and this seasons ones which I have found are a really good fit for me. I have the dark ones already, so thought I would get this light wash pair too.
What do you think of this weeks carboot sale buys? Here is my outfit of the day. My hair looks pretty minging so I cropped off my head! I thought I would go for a bit of a gypsy look in short shorts! Whole outfit from Primark.
