Some of you may think this a little sad, but I wanted a couple of decent 'slightly professional' photos of myself to use on my blog sidebar, or maybe my header in future. I wanted them to be of me, in a way that reflected my personality as well as my blog style and theme. Therefore I chose to wear this 50's style cupcake print dress, with some nude platform heels.
I chose to do my hair in retro style curls with a slight beehive at the front. and then I added some eyelashes from The Vintage Cosmetics Company, and some girly pink lips and cheeks. I used my Cath Kidston tea cup as a prop, as well as a couple of cute cards I had.
The dress was in the ASOS sale for only £20, so a worthwhile prop I think! I thought I would post some of the photos I took (using my normal old camera!) because I think they came out quite nicely! I've had that one in my sidebar for a few weeks now, so here's the rest. Let me know what you think! :)
