The womens fashion designer company Darling got in touch with me about their gorgeous range of clothing. I was offered the chance to pick one of their items to review. They have a capsule selection of clothing, but each item is beautifully designed.
Darling launched in 2008, and is now an award winning (Womenswear Brand of the Year, Drapers Fashion Awards 2011) independant global womens clothing brand. Celebrity fans include include Kelly Brook, Peaches Geldof, Fearne Cotton and Holly Willoughby, and Darling has also graced the pages of Elle, Marie Claire, Grazia, and Look.
Darling offers affordable luxury product with an emphasis on quality and attention to detail. The Darling designs are ultra-feminine, vintage inspired and quintessentially 'English'. This appealed to me, especially their beautiful range of dresses. I chose the 'Leanne' dress, which is wonderfully floaty and girly, with a cute feather print pattern. The Leanne dress is pleated with a teal and orange feather print. It also has a wrap style v-neckline with a hidden button fastening. My favourite feature of the dress is the gorgeous floaty angel-like sleeves. The light, sleek fabric gives the dress a very feminine feel, and I think it would be gorgeous to wear for a summer wedding.
The dress is currently in the sale for £34.50, reduced from £69.
