My Autumn Style File - Under £30 ♥

So August is now officially over, which can mean only one thing.. winter is coming! But before it gets to the freezing cold, icy days, we have Autumns crisp mornings, mild afternoons and ever-darkening evenings. As much as I love spring and summer fashion, I find it can always be a little garish and tacky: tie dye, neon's, minis and strapless everything. Autumn and winter is a lot more sophisticated in the fashion world, and this year, I plan to have a staple wardrobe; practical but glam.

My colour palette will see navy blue, burgundy red, deep green, mustard yellow and sheer nudes. My winter wardrobe will mainly revolve around a few styles: Peter Pan collars, high waisted jeans, peplum tops and suede footwear. I love Peter Pan collars because they add a girly, child-like edge to any outfit. I especially love embellished collars, and I am looking to invest in a removable necklace one, so I can wear it with any outfit! High waisted skinny jeans make me feel more confident than regular jeans. Skinny jeans can be hard to pull off, and their tight fit can often make me feel restricted. However, a high waisted pair makes me feel more held in, and curvier in all the right places!

Peplum tops are another flattering style. Like skater skirts, their feminine shape works wonders for a pear shaped figure, making the most of your top half and slimming down your bottom half. Suede is always my go-to choice for footwear. I'm not sure what it is about it, but I just love suede! Maybe because it's one of the only alternatives to leather (I hate leather!), but i love the soft feel and matte finish of a pair of suede shoes. A satchel bag is another Autumn/Winter fashion staple for me, I love their smart preppy look. I still have a H&M one which I use everyday, and also a bigger Mulberry dupe.

Last year when I first saw Chelsea boots everywhere, I thought they were hideous! Probably because they remind me of a pair of boots I had as a child in the 90's, which were actually hand me downs from the 80's.. yuk! But this year I am in love with them, and I managed to bag a pair of suede ones for only £8 from Primark! I got the last size 5 in the store, it was fate. I really want a pair of wedged boots, or small wedged shoes too though.

Even though this Autumn look is more sophisticated than most summer ones, I still love a cutesy winter jumper! H&M sell a great range of value for money knitwear, and this season they have some very cute patterned jumpers. This bird print one is my favourite! And it's made from Angora wool, so it will be super snuggly.

So here is my style file of Autumninal beautiful fashion buys, all under £30! Fashion doesn't have to be expensive; these items are from New Look, Asda, Matalan, and H&M. I want them all!
