£5 off + FREE DELIVERY @ H&M online.. ♥

I posted yesterday about a couple of bits I bought from H&M online and how I got a discount, but I forgot to share it with you! So here are the codes you can use to save almost £9. H&M is my favourite high street store, as it sells more unique and quirky items compared to New Look etc. And their prices are so reasonable, and the products are good quality. The only problem can be their sizing, which is a bit crazy!

For £5 off use code: 1304
For 10% off + free standard delivery use code: 9756

You can use two codes at once to get both discounts :) Let me know what you buy!

These are valid until 4th March.

OOTD 25/02/12.. ♥

Here's another outfit I wore this weekend... What do you think? :) I bought the dress in the H&M sale last year for only £3.99! But it was too small for me then, but it fits now and I really love it! I love the girly heart print and long silky sleeves.

OOTD 24/02/12.. ♥

I wore this at the weekend when I went out shopping :) The sun was shining, so I ditched my winter coat and boots for my spring quilted jacket and ballet pumps. Navy, burgandy and red are some of my favourite colours to wear fashion-wise. I thought I should get some use out of them before the Spring pastel trends are in full swing! This skirt is the one I bought from the Matalan sale in my last haul post for £4.

Top: New Look
Skirt: Matalan

Jacket: Dorothy Perkins
Satchel: Primark
Ring: Ebay

False Eyelashes by The Vintage Cosmetic Company.. ♥

I love wearing false eyelashes because naturally, my eyelashes aren't very long. I wear them on nights out, and sometimes during the day if I'm feeling too lazy to do my make up and am going somewhere nice. I don't have a specific brand that I use, as I like to try out different ones.

Today, I have a new brand to try, The Vintage Cosmetic Company! Perfectly fitting in with my blog style and theme, these falsies have a galmorous vintage feel to them. It's a new small brand that has just launched in the UK selling a range of glamorous eyelashes.  There are 5 different styles to choose from, and I received two pairs to try out, Kitty and Gracie.

The Kitty lashes are designed to bring out the glamour puss in you!

The Gracie lashes can be used to create a cute and girly look.

I tried out the Kitty lashes at the weekend. The lashes came with a tube of adhesive glue. I applied a coat of masara and then a thin layer of glue to the edge of the lashes. I was amazed that the glue came out blue! I thought this was good, as then you can see where you have applied it so you don't miss a bit (it dries clear). This isn't mentioned, but I think it's an interesting feature that I haven't seen other false lashes have. I then left the glue to go tacky for about 30 seconds, and then carefully applied the lash to my eyelid and pressed it into place.

Before: No mascara + one coat of mascara.

Here's the finished look with the Kitty lashes!

The lash glue was very good as the lashes stayed in place, but then they were easily removeable at the end of the day. You can then remove the glue from the lashes and reuse them again! I love these lashes, they really help to create a wide eyed, sexy look.

You can buy these for £6 from the Vintage Cosmetics Company website, and they come with a free pair of eyelash curlers!

Recent Comp Wins, including surprise Marc Jacobs! ♥

So last week among my piles of junk mail and post.. was a brown paper packet with my address hand written on it and no company name or anything. And inside was this 75ml bottle of Marc Jacobs Eau So Fresh! Amazing! There was no letter or anything inside so I have no idea where it has come from, but I'm assuming its a competition win from some time ago but I have no idea where from. This made me very happy! In December I had it on my wishlist but as it was almost £50 it was kind of out of my budget. So I am absolutely thrilled to have won a perfume that I actually adore!

I was also lucky enough to win Alisha's Valentines blog giveaway which she ran on her Facebook page. The prize was a mini box of Thorntons chocolates and a MAC lipstick.

The lipstick was a colour of her choice, and I am so happy that I was sent it in Lustre Cockney! It's a gorgeous shade of red, and deep reds are my favourite lipstick colours. This is my first MAC lipstick, and I love it! Thanks Alisha.

I won this Good Things eye cream for the Good Things Facebook page last week and they sent it out very quickly. I am a massive fan of Good Things, and I have blogged about them previously. Their products smell sooo good and fruity! Yum. The eyecream is £6, available from Boots and Superdrug. Hopefully it will help with my dark circles.

I also won this jewellery set on Facebook from Dainty Bits.  I got to chose any necklace and bracelet from their website, and they also sent me a cute cat ring :) I chose the bow bracelet to match the scissors pendant necklace. Cute huh?

Vintage Treasures in Mums Kitchen.. ♥

After finding the tea set in the charity shop last week, I thought I would have a look around in my Mums cupboards to see if she had any old style goodies hidden away! Most of you will probably be like.. wtf, this is boring. But I thought it would be interesting :)

Take a look at what I found...

Pretty floral sugar bowl and milk jug

Big floral jug

2 tea cups and saucers

2 retro plastic tea cup and saucers

Selection of old glass jars.

Some very old looking baking essences!

An old looking food processor

A very old cookery book with recipes for 'New World Gas Cookers'!

This is actually the handheld whisk that I use when I do baking! It's probably older than I am.

Vintage Salter kitchen scales, with all the weights :)

Project Perfect.. ♥

I've seen lots of other lovely bloggers do this post, which was originally done by Flaws and All. Young woman are often negative about themselves, their looks in particular. So this post is all about the things that you do like about yourself, thinking positively.

So here are the rules:
1. Post a photo that you like of yourself and say in a couple of sentences why you like it.
2. State some things that you DON'T like yourself but say why others may love to be like that.
3. State 3 things that you DO like about yourself.

So, here is my Project Perfect post:

A full length photo of myself that I really like.
This photo was taken in Summer 2010 when I was really happy with life and myself. I like it because my hair is naturally wavy and it's really long, and I have a nice tan, and my body is a lot smaller than it is now! I could happily wear those short shorts around any day!

A face shot of myself that I really like
I took this photo today, and I really like the shape of my face. That's all really, I've always had chubby cheeks but this photo makes my jawline look structured and my chin more prominent. My eyes look nice and blue too.

Three things that I don't like about myself, but turned into positives:

1. I have awful teeth. I went through a phase of never smiling with my mouth open, but I have started showing my teeth a little more now (see above pic). They don't stick out, they re just really wonky, as I never wore my retainer as a kid as I didn't want to look 'uncool'. This could be positive as it's a bit quirky and different?

2. My thighs are big! Always have been, and my calves! Not fat and wobbly.. just large. Really out of proportion as my top half is small. This could be positive as I would prefer my sturdy legs than stick legs as it makes me look more 'curvy'?

3. I don't like my eyelashes or hairline :( This one really bugs me and there isn't really a positive. My eyelashes are so fine and always fall out. And they're fair so you can hardly see them. And my hairline is wonky, and I have a cowslip at the front of my hair which is why I have a weird parting, and the crown at the back of my head isn't central its too high so makes it look like a bald patch :( no positive unless you like weird hair.

Three things that I like about myself:

1. My eyes. They're big and blue :)

2. My bum. It's massive and I love it like that!

3. My nose is okay too I suppose.. it's tiny but has massive nostrils which is quite amusing!

Louche Polka Dot Dress from Kikis Boutique.. ♥

I was very kindly sent this beautiful dress from the new collection at Kikis Boutique. The dress is made by Louche, and it has a lovely 50's vintage style to it. It has a cut out keyhole back and an A line floaty skirt. It also has a cute button on the back, and a modern exposed silver zip.

I love polka dots, so I was instantly attracted to this gorgeous mustardy-gold colour dress. It's not too over the top, but it's great to dress up in for a nice evening. It's easy to accessorize too, and would look great with some black opaque tights for a more casual look.

It has a cinched in waist to give you a hour glass figure and shape. It would be perfect for an afternoon tea or a hot date. The bodice is fitted, and the skirt floats outwards to make you feel ultra-girly. It even has hidden pockets! The fabric has a brushed-cotton feel finish, which I thought looked like silk.

I wore the dress with a black skinny belt, and accessorized with my moustache double-finger ring. I also wore black opaque knee highs rolled down, and my velvet platform ankle boots.

You can buy this dress for £69.99 from Kikis Boutique, or take a look at their other stunning clothing. I also love their gifts and homeware ranges! Lots of gorgeous girly pieces, including Pip Studio! Also its free delivery when you spend over £50, and you get £5 off when you sign up to their mailing list :) Check them out!
