OOTD 24/05/12 - Madam Rage Ditsy Print Dress.. ♥

I hope you're all still enjoying the beautiful weather! I sure am, even if I have to spend my days at work. It's so much nicer waking up to sunshine than grey skies! And everyone just seems happier :)

Anyway, the lovely weather has allowed me to wear some of my favourite outfits and dresses without the need for tights and chunky cardigans. This gorgeous dress was sent to me by Madam Rage a few weeks ago and I've finally got round to wearing it.

Dress: Madam Rage | Belt: Primark | Shoes: Select
Madam Rage only produce a limited run of each style, and their aim is to produce garments of the highest possible quality in up to date designs. They don’t mass-produce their designs and each garment is designed in-house which allows exclusivity.
The cute mini dress has pleated sleeves and an elasticated waist. It even comes with a red patent skinny belt which I wore with my polka dot dress last week.

The fabric is light and chiffon-like, with the most beautiful floral pattern on. I love the pale blue colour, it's so nice for summer. I wore this to work on a very hot day last week, and I think although it's very girly and sweet, it's still a suitable length to wear to work. And although the fabric is sheer it comes with a good quality lining so it's not see-through. I love this dress, it would be perfect for a summer garden party! I can't wait to wear it again soon, I got lots of lovely feedback on Instagram!

The dress is available to buy from Madam Rage for £26. They have many more gorgeous dresses, and I have in fact just bought this one too as it's in the sale and I saw Temporary: Secretary has it!

My Big H&M and New Look Haul.. ♥

I've done a tonne of shopping again lately! So I will seperate it into two posts. This is the stuff I got from New Look and H&M, and my next post will be Matalan and Primark! I wanted some new summer stuff, mainly easy to wear tshirts in bright colours and some pastels. I may have gone a bit overboard. But still here are some of my amazing buys from my fav ever shop H&M, and New Look.

I love this! This stunning dipped hem chiffon skirt was only £12.99 from H&M. Huge bargain of the season! I hadn't been that attracted to these skirts, but I loved this colour, and now that I've tried it on, I want more colours too! But this is the only one they did in H&M I think. Anyway, I love it.

This little nudey dress was also only £12.99 from H&M.

Another huge H&M bargain, this gorgeous pastel aqua blue sleeveless blouse was only £7.99! Amazing. I wore it a few days ago and it is so lovely and light to wear, I also have it in white.

I wanted a loose fitting white tshirt to tuck into the blue floaty skirt so I picked this one up for £6.99 from H&M.

And I also got a similar one in lilac.

This cute sleeveless vest top is slightly sheer, and very light. I think it was about £4.99! H&M do such great value stuff.

I also got this bright red tshirt leotard from H&M for £6.99 to wear with summer skirts.

And I got this sleeveless skater dress with nautical navy blue and white stripes for only £7.99.

And this is now one of my favourite bikinis ever! The top is from H&M and is only £3.99. But their matching bottoms fitted HORRIBLY as their sizing can be so weird. But I picked up these bottoms in a practically identical colour from New Look, for £7.99. Can't wait to get my tan on!

From New Look, I got this mint coloured loose fitting tshirt. The back is slit open to show some lower-back flesh which is cute. These are great value as they are currently on 2 for £6!

And lastly from New Look, I got this blue and white striped vest top. This was also in the 2 for £6 section.

So what do you think of my new summer fashion pieces? I can't wait to show you what else I've bought! Naughty me...

OOTD 23/05/12 - Polka Dot Love.. ♥

Just before the weather picked up last week, it was still a bit chilly. So this is one of my outfits that I wore to work on a cool day. I love this dress as its so easy to wear, and I just love polka dots! I accessoried with a patent red belt and matching shoes, and then a little bright red heart ring. The dress is actually a navy blue colour although the camera has made it look black!

Carmex Lipbalm Review.. ♥

Carmex is a bestselling brand of lip balm that has been around since the 1930's. The classic yellow lid jar is an iconic beauty product that is the original lip balm that is still being sold today. It contains a unique blend of ingredients, including natural moisturisers such as cocoa butter. It leaves you with healthy-looking lips by restoring lost moisture and preventing dryness. Carmex sell over 130 lipbalms every minute worldwide!

Despite their popularity, I had never tried a Carmex product before. I think this is because I was put off by the idea of it being in a little tub because it reminds me of Vaseline and I HATE Vaseline (ewww). But Carmex sent me a few of their products to try, so I can find out why it is one of the bestselling beauty products.

The Cherry Tube is more of a lipgloss in my opinion, as its a clear, glossy, runny fluid that comes out. But the cherry flavour is very appealing! It leaves lips smooth and shiney, and it contains SPF 15 to protect your lips in the summer sunshine. RRP £2.69.

The classic Carmex pot is a solid, waxy lipbalm that is taste free and virtually invisible. The pot is tiny and cute which makes it perfect for keeping in your handbag. RRP £2.69.

The Carmex Moisture Plus is my favourite product. The colour I received is 'Sheer Peach'. It is an ultra hydrating lip balm that gives you moisture and a hint of sheer colour and shine. RRP £4.49.

I love this because I rarely use a lipstick and prefer to use a lipbalm, and this is inbetween both, as it adds a hint of colour aswell as moisturising!

Carmex products are available to buy from Boots, Superdrug, etc.

New CID i-prime Primer.. ♥

New CID, a beauty blogger favourite brand, is a salon quality, professional make-up range that was launched in the UK in 2005. New CID is an innovative cosmetic range with colours to suit all skin tones. The brand uses smart technology that enhances your natural beauty with minimum fuss.

I was very excited to try out the i-prime Foundation Primer, which is available to buy from Hair Trade.

"i - prime will not only improve the appearance of the skin instantly but will allow foundation to glide on perfectly (even in those tricky areas) and stay on all day. i - prime is a light-weight serum that should be applied after moisturising, featuring skin-quenching shea butter and powerful antioxidant Vitamin E." - Hair Trade

I am still fairly new to using foundation primers, so I was looking forward to trying a new product and brand. Primers smooth the surface of the skin, instantly improving its appearance and helping to get that flawless complexion while holding foundation in place for longer. The i - prime helps to blur imperfections, giving the skin a smoother and more radiant appearance.

I like the packaging of the i-prime, as it comes in a nice chunky bottle, and to use it you twist the bottom and then you can pump it out. The i-prime has a thicker consistency to other primers I've tried, which I like. It's also nice and creamy and not greasy, but still moisturising. I found that it was a great base layer to my foundation, helping my make up go on smoothly, and looking almost flawless. The i-prime helped to cover up any blemishes and uneven skintones, and it made my make up last a few hours longer than usual.

As you can see from the photo above, the i-prime with Rimmel Wake Me Up foundation, made my skin look brighter and very even. Overall, the i-prime gave my skin a very healthy glow and I highly recommend it to others who need a skin boost. I look forward to trying more products from New CID in future!

You can buy the New CID i-prime from Hair Trade for £27.

OOTD 20/05/12 - Red Skater Dress.. ♥

The sun has been out for the last couple of days and it has been so lovely! But on the weekend it was still freezing cold! When I went out on Sunday to Cambridgeshire I had to wrap up warm and wear a coat and scarf. But here's my OOTD that I kept hidden under my coat most of the day. What a waste of an outfit! Bring on summer!

The dress is one of my 99p eBay buys. I have wanted one for a while after seeing Frankie from The Saturdays wearing a red skater dress! My camera hates taking photo's of 'red' by the way, the dress looks kind of orange in these pics but its actually a lovely bright pillar-box red.
