Glominerals Graphic Liner Precision Eyeliner ♥

I have always used liquid eyeliner ever since my Upper School years when I first started experimenting with make up. I’m not sure if it’s really the best look for me to be honest, but I feel too bare without it, so it’s a must have every single day (except PJ days obviously).

Over the years I’ve tried out dozens of different eyeliner styles and brands, and I’ve never really quite settled on a favourite. It’s so annoying when you find something you like and then it gets discontinued or has a ‘new improved formula’ so it’s never the same again. My hunt for an eyeliner is still ongoing after all this time, although a firm favourite at the moment is actually a bargain £2 liquid eyeliner felt tip pen from Primark.

The most recent eyeliner I’ve tried is the Glominerals Graphic Liner Precision Eyeliner that I was offered from The Cosmetic Practice. It has a fine felt tip applicator which I find perfect for doing a fine line on the top eyelid, or for the cat eye effect. My first few uses of this eyeliner were great; the colour was jet black and deep, it was smooth, and very long lasting. I found it really easy to apply, it looked great, and it lasts all day. However, unfortunately after a few uses, it began to dry up, and more annoyingly, little pieces of the felt tip kept falling off and getting in the way. The smooth dark line of the first use was now bitty, flaky and patchy, and not so easy to apply.

It’s a huge shame, because I loved it so much the first few times I used it. I have a bit of a love/hate relationship with it, as when it’s on, it looks great. But it’s just a lot of effort for it to be applied neatly, and I seem to have to keep going over it again and again to get a dark colour. But I’m still persevering with it occasionally, as I think the formula is great, there just seems to be a problem with the felt tip nib.

What’s your favourite liquid eyeliner?

  1. I love my liquid eyeliner and I'm constantly on the look out for new products! This looks really good and I'll definitely need to try this out for myself.

  2. I've been faithfully sticking to the Collection 2000 liquid liner- it's so cheap and the bottle seems to last me a while despite using it almost daily. The formula isn't perfect- I leave the house with a nice winged line, and come back at the end of the day with most of that rubbed off, but I find the brush really easy to use.

  3. I really don't get on with pen liners because of the nib! They always seem to dry out for me.

  4. I've heard that 'The Black Liner' by Yves Saint Laurent is realllllly good. It is £25, but for the perfect eyeliner I don't think that's too bad , so I'm going to be buying it soon as it has amazing reviews, and then I will do a review on it too!! I hope its as good as people say.
