Dirty Works Skincare Review.. ♥

I am a big fan of all things in pretty or retro packaging. I also love discovering new beauty and skincare products. So imagine my delight when I got to try out some gorgeous products from Dirty Works! Affordable, yet indulgent, Dirty Works makes pampering and skincare, fun fun fun! Glamorous and feminine – a bath, body, skincare and accessory line exclusively available in Sainsbury’s stores nationwide.

The products I have been lucky enough to try out are the ‘Wake Up Call Face Wash’, ‘Gently Does it Facial Wipes’, ‘Sleep it off Night Cream’, ‘Youth Sexy Thing Day Cream’, and ‘Banish the Bags Eye Cream’.

The facial wipes are a gentle and effective way of cleansing and removing make-up  in one simple step. These wipes leave your skin looking and feeling fresh. Contains superfruit extract of cranberry to help nourish and moisturise skin and anti-oxidant properties which help to protect skin against ageing. I love these wipes as they are very fruity smelling and fresh. They remove all traces of make up and are very moist, not dry. They cost only £2.99 for 25 wipes.

The Banish the Bags eye cream helps to reduce eye puffiness and dark circles.  This soothing eye cream aims to reduce the appearance of tired eyes and bags. Boosted with a proven tightening peptide and stimulating Caffeine to help improve circulation around the delicate eye area.

This is my favourite product I have tried by Dirty Works. You just apply a small amouth in the morning and again at night. You can feel it instantly smooth your eye area and I think my eyes have looked less tired since using it. And best of all, its a steal at only £4.99! I will definatley be rebuying this product.

The night cream replenishes and recharges skin while you sleep. Bursting with wonder ingredients and beauty boosters to help fight ageing skin and to keep your skin looking youthful and feeling totally recharged. With high performance Hyaluronic Acid and super duper Fig extract for deep hydration.
This is also a new favourite product of mine that I thoroughly recommend. Its a lovely little tub of moisturising goodness. Its nice and thick and creamy and smells lovely! You just massage it onto a clean face before bedtime, it makes a lovely luxurious night time treat! I’ve been using it every night and I love the skin soothing effect it has. Another bargain at only £7.99 – perfect for Mothers Day!

The day cream is boosted with protective UV filters and light reflectors and packed with essential nutrients to help brighten and tighten your skin. An anti-ageing day cream loaded with skin-loving nutrients to help smooth and firm the skin. Contains pea extract, known to boost skin firmness and elasticity and passion flower oil – for its super moisturising benefits. With regular use your skin looks younger, and feels smoother and firmer.
It is recommended that you apply this cream every morning to a clean face. I prefer their night cream to the day cream as this seems to be a bit of a funny consistency. It’s not as creamy and is a little more runny, but it still smells lovely. This retails for £6.99.

The face wash gently removes impurities to leave your skin blissfully clean and ready to face the day. It contains moisturising chicory extract, cotton seed oil (rich in vitamin E) and radiance boosting papaya extract, so skin is gently yet effectively cleansed and refreshed.
I like this face wash as it’s great to wake up with to kick start your day. You simply massage it onto damp skin and rinse it well with warm water. It can even be used to remove make up, and it leaves your skin feeling very soft and clean. However the consistency is a bit ‘stringy’ rather than creamy. This is only £3.99 from Sainsburys.
You can buy Dirty Works exclusively from your local supermarket Sainsburys, and they currently have lots of Dirty Works products on special offer! So check them out 🙂

They look like there trying to be S&G too much for my liking – they may well have been around before S&G but i discovered S&G first if that makes sense!
