A couple of weeks ago I received a lovely surprise packet from Liz Earle! They had sent me a sample of their wonderful sheer lip gloss to review. I don’t often wear lipgloss, I find it to be too sticky! But this was a very welcome treat as I hadn’t actually tried a lip gloss since my early teens.
Obviously times have moved on and technology has developed since I was slapping sticky, cheap lip gloss on my lips at middle school. This Liz Earle lip gloss is soft and lightweight, and not at all sticky. It is very easy to apply, gliding on effortlessly. The lip gloss came in smart packaging; a small card box, and the gloss has a traditional soft brush application.
I received the lip gloss in shade Honey Suckle, which is a pale shimmery pink. Liz describes it as a soft, pearly pink-gold, which you can wear on its own or to add a hint of pink-gold to your favourite lipstick. It’s a very girly and feminine shade, and perfect for day-to-day wear.
It is enriched with natural ingredients and oils, so it leaves your lips with a sheer, healthy looking shine, and plump appearance. The avacado oil is good source of vitamin E, magnesium and linoleic acid, an essential fatty acid and leaves the skin smooth and soft. And the Shea butter contains nourishing and smoothing properties. It is particularly useful in counteracting dryness as it helps to seal moisture onto the skin.
This lipgloss is available in 12 different shades, and retails for £13.50, available from Liz Earle.
