Spontaneous Evening & Dinner at The Diner in London ♥

A bit of a random post.. but on Tuesday I was meant to be going to watch Britains Got Talent Live auditions at the Palladium in Central London with some friends. However, when we got there, unfortunately they were seriously overbooked and there was no seats left! We were all pretty gutted. My friends boyfriend had got the tickets for us from Applause Store and we were really excited! So 5 of us got the train into London in the afternoon so we could get there over an hour early, but we still weren’t early enough. So seeing as we’d travelled for an hour and spent £15 each on train tickets, we decided to spend the evening wondering around. There’s not much to do past 6 o’clock (not that we found anyway!) in central London except shop. But we decided to walk around and then head for some dinner at The Diner down Carnaby Street.

It was lush in there! They had a big menu full of yummy burgers and hot dogs, and there was lots of milkshakes to choose from too. The Diner was presented in a typical American Diner theme with red leather booth chairs and shiny silver metal. I loved the atmosphere of the restaurant and the food was even better! I had a cheese burger with blue cheese and mushrooms, with a side of chilli! It was delicious! It was really reasonable too.. I got the burger, chilli, and a coke for less than £13. So the evening was not wasted and we had some giggles walking up around the streets of London. Here’s a few photos I took!

It's a shame you didn't get into the show, I guess that always a risk! I loveeeeee The Diner, the milkshakes are to die for! Like you said, the prices are really reasonable too.

Looks amazing, will have to remember that diner for when I'm next in London. I love American-style diners, I can pretend I'm in Grease 🙂

London is so beautiful at night. Very envious that your train ticket cost just £15, it costs me around £50 to travel to London! Your food looks incredibly yummy! It looks like you had fun despite missing out on BGT xx

I went to the auditions on the Wednesday spent 2 hours queuing after being held in the 'stand-by queue' but luckily got in eventually. I seriously don't know how early we were expected to arrive to get seats. At least you got to have some lovely food and shop so wasn't a wasted day!

I have been to a few with Applause Store and I'd say always get there as early as you can like 2/3 hours before otherwise there isn't much chance! At least you still made the most of your time in London though and that restaurant looks good 🙂 xx
