Life in Instagram: Christmas Edition 2015 ♥

So December is finally here and I can’t believe Christmas is only five days away already! Time goes by so quickly sometimes. Christmas this year is a bit of a struggle to be honest. This whole year has been the most difficult time of my life and I’m really finding things hard most days. I know that having a boyfriend isn’t the be all and end all in life, but not having someone to share such a lovely time with for the first time is horrible. Bleugh. But ho hum.. life goes on! I still have my amazing family to spend Christmas time with and for that I am very grateful. Here’s a few of my Instagram photos from the run up to Christmas..
Our tree went up pretty early this year, and our theme is red and white Nordic style so we have a cute mix of little decorations! I like the little knitted gingerbread man best…
Merlin is absolutely loving the Christmas tree being up, as it means he has a constant source of toys to play with! These two owl decorations were 2 for only £1.50 from Poundland last week! So cute.
I’ve been wearing my Joules reindeer jumper to work recently as it’s festive without being too OTT! I love the sparkly gold motif! This pretty Christmas tree was up in Milton Keynes shopping centre where they had a sweet little Christmas market going on.
I have a bit of a thing for collecting cute little white ceramic things, so I’ve set them all out on my dressing room table and it’s like a cute little winter wonderland when it’s all lit up! This is the outfit I wore for our work Christmas party last weekend; a navy blue dress with a sparkly waist belt and black heels.
On Friday we had a little office lunch so we all wore our Christmas jumpers and had a feast of a buffet style picnic! So much food.. yum yum!
And today I went on a little day out to a cute town near me called Olney and there are some gorgeous houses there, and they all seemed to have these freshly made Christmas wreaths on their doors with real leafy stuff! And my Dad treated me to these cute Christmas decorations from a little gift shop to cheer me up.. isn’t he sweet!
