Christmas Interior Trends for 2018 *

Looking for something different to spruce up your Christmas decorations this year? Take a look at some of the following trends that are cropping up all over the UK for some inspiration!

Pink Christmas

Have you been waiting for this trend to revive itself in time for Christmas? Well, your wish has come true! Pink is in after all this time. Think pink accessories, furniture, even pink baubles on the tree. Featured in the likes of Elle magazine, this is fast becoming one of the most sought-after trends this Christmas.

Iron & Rust

Think deep oranges, cinnamon and dark browns this year. Iron & Rust, featured again in Elle magazine, is another trend on the up and up for 2018. Pair orange velvet throw cushions with a Yankee citrus scent to bring home that Iron & Rust vibe for Christmas.

Scandinavian Chic

For a more minimal vibe this year, try the Scandi way of celebrating. Minimal tree decorations and pine scents mixed with decorative yet simplistic lighting. For inspiration, take a visit to IKEA and check out their Christmas range this year.

Minimal & Moody

It would appear that minimalism is on the up this year, with more and more interior magazines focusing on a minimal and less environmentally impactful Christmas trend. Think white baubles, open space and plain wrapping paper for the gifts!

Urban Christmas

Although Christmas is usually a time for warm tones and such, the Urban Christmas theme turns this on its head. Think Walk on Glass floors, stripped back concrete walls and dark tones such as grey and black. Not the trend for everyone, Urban Christmas is very much a minimalist way of decorating.
