I’m loving the new homeware items available in shops this season. Everything seems so much more colourful when the sun comes out! I still need to take a trip to Ikea, but it always seems like so much effort. I can’t help but buying cute little things for the home if they’re a good enough price. I probably don’t need half of the things I buy, but they’re just so sweet! I could spend hours browsing around being inspired by beautiful interiors. I’ve recently come across some stunning shabby chic floral wallpapers which make me wish I had a blank canvas room…

I always love discovering new homeware companies, and I really enjoy browsing online stores for inspiration. My interior style is relatively simple, I like shabby chic designs, floral patterns and pastel colours. My bedroom is my favourite room in our house, because every item has been chosen by me and it all suits my style and personality. I love quirky pieces too, and I wanted to show you my adorable new table teapot lamp that I was sent from Litecraft. Teapot Lamp Litecraft is a family run British company with their HQ based in Manchester, plus 8 stores throughout the…

I love a good bargain, especially when it comes to homewares! I’m obsessed with buying house stuff, even though I live at home with my parents. I have a bad habit of buying all sorts of things just because it’s pretty, or cheap, or usually both. Here’s what I’ve bought lately from my favourite cheap shops Home Bargains, B&M + Poundland. These gorgeous little mugs were only 99p each from Home Bargains. I just bought the blue one at first and then picked up the pink one on my next trip! They’re super cute and have a very Cath Kidston…

I love browsing Pinterest to find nice ideas to prettify my home, but beautiful homewares can often be pricey. But not always, as local supermarkets are no longer just a place to pick up your weekly shopping, you can now buy all sorts of things, including clothing, TV’s, and household items. And not just boring dull things, take a look at these beauties that I picked up from Asda, Tesco, and Sainsburys recently.  I took part in a challenge with Debt Free Direct about savvy shopping. Do supermarket brands cut it when it comes to home decorations, is their quality…

This weekend I had a major spring clean of my bedroom, so I thought what a good time to do an updated room tour now it’s all nice and tidy! Not too much has changed since the last posts I did (here and here) in 2012 but I thought it would be nice to do a little catch up. I have sliding mirrored wardrobes so I have a bad habit of just hiding everything behind the doors and hoping no one opens them!  So I decided to pull out all the bric-a-brac and go through it all. I’ve ended up…

A couple of weeks ago I went to Liams Mums house to visit, and I went armed with my camera so I could take some photos of her pretty home. I always like visiting as she has such a cute little house, that’s always spotlessly tidy and full of nice shabby chic things. Each room is filled with vintage and retro homeware and sweet decorations. A heart shaped wreath even adorns her front door!  Her kitchen is my favourite room of the house, with an Emma Bridgewater mug collection, and old style cooker and refridgerator, and genuine vintage bits and…
