The weather at the weekend was so beautiful! This week seems to be a little glum, but at least winter isn’t here just yet. On Sunday I treated myself and my parents to a little afternoon out to Wing, near Leighton Buzzard. We went to The Queen’s Head, courtesy of www.groupon.co.uk/vouchers/restaurant/british/afternoon-tea, for an afternoon tea. The Queen’s Head is a 16th Century pub set in the picturesque Buckinghamshire village of Wing. They do a wide range of British pub meals, as well as an a la carte menu, and afternoon tea. The afternoon tea consists of a selection of finger…

On Monday it was my 22nd birthday! Now that I’m older, birthdays aren’t such an exciting novelty, but I thought I would still show you what I got up to! Me and my Mum went for afternoon tea Flemings Hotel in Mayfair, London on the weekend. We also had a nice long walk around the city, and we even visited my favourite bakery, the Primrose Bakery, in Covent Garden. We also browsed the shops; Cath Kidston, Selfridges, and the massive Primark!  The afternoon tea at Flemings was fairly average. The hotel was stunning, but very contemporary and modern; I prefer…

On Sunday I took my parents out for afternoon tea at a manor house hotel. It was my Mothers Day gift to my Mum. The hotel is called the Woodland Manor, in Bedfordshire, and it’s a traditional English country home. It had beautiful countryside views and pretty gardens. Here are some photo’s from the day. My cheesy OOTD: Dress: eBay Shoes: Matalan Belt: eBay Ring: Vintage FOTD The Manor House The sandwiches: These were a selection of salmon, cheese, ham, and beef. There were only 4 scones between 3 of us which was a bit random. So we only got…

At the weekend, one of my best friends and I visited the beautiful old English town of Stratford Upon Avon. We had booked an afternoon tea lunch at the Best Western Grosvenor Hotel, and the weather was so beautiful; we were very lucky! I did a post in November about when I visited the same hotel with my parents, we had such a great time so it was so nice to go back again. We had our afternoon tea in the Drawing Room of the hotel, and we were in there all alone and cosy. We started off the traditional…

So today I went for afternoon tea in Stratford-upon-Avon with my parents. We walked around the lovely old town, and peeked in all the shops which are now full of Christmas bits and bobs. We went for tea at the Grosvenor Hotel. The package included a selection of sandwiches (salmon, cheese, ham etc), a bunch of little cakes, scones with jam and cream, and then a chocolate fondue with fruit and marshmallows! Yum yum! As it was ‘tea for two’ I let my parents have that, and I had the most delicious steak baguette ever! It had thick pieces of…
