Last weekend was the big cake sale that I’d booked a few months ago. It was held at my local village summer fete and I wanted to buy a stall so I could integrate a bit more with my local community. It was the first big event I’ve done, so in preparation I took a day off work to do the baking. I totally overbaked and had loads left over because I literally made hundreds!
