I picked this up on a whim from Poundland as I was browsing the beauty section. It looked pretty interesting, and it was nicely packaged and by a known brand so I bought it. It’s an American product sold in the USA but as Poundland is American owned, they often have US products available which is kind of exciting! Anyway, this is called the Sally Hansen Color Quick Fast Dry Nail Pen, and I picked it up in fuchsia chrome.   To use it, you just click the top to dispense the colour, and then you gently brush it on…

As soon as the MUA Nail Constellations were released a month or so ago, I hunted high and low in Superdrug stores to find one! I luckily managed to grab the last one in Windsor, which just so happened to be the Gemini ones, which were my preferred colour.  MUA Nail Constellations are very similar to the Ciate Caviar nails, which retail for £18. These however, are only £3, so you don’t feel too guilty if you spill them everywhere (oops). The tiny beads have a gorgeous shine and the Gemini set are gorgeous shades of pastel pearly pink, blue,…

A few weeks ago I took advantage of the amazing deals on Essie at Fragrance Direct. They have a selection of Essie nail polishes for only £1.99 each. Their selection seems to be constantly changing though, but I managed to get my hands on two gorgeous pastel shades; Muchi Muchi pink and To Buy Or Not To Buy lilac.    I love pastel shades of nail polish, and these two really stood out at me! They’re so pretty and such nice colours.  I had Googled what the shades looked like on the nails of other beauty bloggers, and the both…

I showed you this dress a few weeks ago in my 8 Dresses for 8 Pounds post, that I bought for £1 off eBay. It’s originally an Oasis dress from last year, and it retailed for £60. It’s a nice caramel tan colour, with cute little polka dots which give it a girly charm. It also has a really fine pleated skirt, and long-ish sleeves. The high neck gives it a smart conservative look, and I teamed it with a black skinny belt with gold detail to accessorise.  I also wore it with a pair of low heel smart black…

I’ve had my nails done like this for over a week now, and they’re still in good condition! I used Ciate Sugar Plum which is a gorgeous pale lilac colour, and then I used Chit Chat purple glitter polish on top. The Chit Chat nail polish is from Poundland, and I’ve mentioned before how great their glitter polishes are! They are a great top coat.  What do you think?

So, these are a little bit messy, but I still wanted to show you my cupcake nails! I did these especially for National Cupcake Week, and because I’m going to the Cake and Bake show. And they’re just a little bit of fun 🙂 I also got to experiment with my new nail art brushes! So here’s a mini tutorial on how I did my cupcake nails. 1. Give your nails two coats of the ‘cupcake case’ colour. 2. Using a small nail art brush, paint on the white wavey icing.  3. Using a fine nail art brush, draw some…
