I think Ciate is my new favourite nail polish brand! Check out my nails this week, done using Ciate Strawberry Milkshake and Pepperminty! What do you think of my contrasting tips? (excuse my manky cuticles)

I was very generously sent some samples of Ciate nail polishes by their PR company. Ciate have created a beautiful, wearable range of fashion nail polish colours, nail treatments, hand and foot care and accessories. Their philosophy is the be a leader, not a follower, and to always stay one step ahead.  Ciate is a British nail brand, who is known famously worldwide for their innovative caviar manicure. Ciate stands for: Colour, Innovation, Aspiration, Trend, and Extraordinary. I chose the colours that I wanted to try, which were the following five:  Strawberry Milkshake, Pepperminty, Holiday Blues, Sugar Plum, and Apple…

I’m calling this a Mermaid Manicure because it’s how I would imagine a pretty mermaid to have her nails done! I took advantage of the 2 for £5 offer on Barry M at Superdrug, and I bought Aqua Glitter and Blue Moon. I love the glitter, it has some really tiny particles and then a few large ones. The blue moon looks very slightly shimmery too! They go really nicely together. So I decided to use the glitter on my tips on top of the blue. What do you think?

Since growing my nails, I have a new found love for all things nail art! I am not usually very experimental with  my nails, but recently I have just been seeing so many patterns I want to try! I’ve seen so many lovely ladies doing a Cath Kidston nail art post on their blogs, so I thought I should definitely try it myself.    I chose to do a pattern similar to the Cath Kidston Provence Rose fabric, as I happen to have a beautiful CK full tea set in that pattern. I was very nervous about doing this nail…

I posted at the weekend about the bargains I picked up in Poundland, including one of their own brand nail polishes. I picked it up because it was a multicolour glitter one and it looked pretty, and I’m actually so happy with it! It dries really quickly, and they glitter sprinkle colours are really bright and don’t fade. I wore my nails like this for a week before they started to chip. The base coat I used was Barry M Strawberry Ice Cream. What do you think?

I thought I would try out the 3D nail art things I bought from eBay for 99p. I bought a cake set and a fruit set. I painted my nails using Collection 2000 Button Moon, and then got gluing the little buggars on! They stick on SO well with regular false nail glue, so don’t expect to get them off for over a week. I needed to use nail scissors to ping mine off! They’re pretty cute though 🙂 What do you think?
