It was almost 2 months ago I was on holiday but I’ve only just got round to taking all the photos off of my camera! I can’t believe it’s August already! In June I went with my parents to a little place called Mijas on the Costa Del Sol in Spain, and I had such a lovely week chilling out. We stayed in my Uncles apartment there which was so nice and in a really great location, with an idyllic swimming pool and no holiday makers to be seen hogging sunbeds!I had such a good time visiting some great places,…

So today is my 25th birthday! I feel old.. it’s horrible so lets move on… I had a little BBQ in my garden to celebrate! Even though the weather wasn’t perfect, I had an urge to use my new BBQ. I bought this portable kettle Landmann Piccolino BBQ from Homebase, and the turquoise colour really caught my eye. We have never had a BBQ before, so we weren’t really experts in getting it set up, but eventually it got going and we successfully used it to cook some sausages and mini burgers. It’s only a little one, but it’s easy…

I can’t even remember the last time I did an outfit post on my blog.. a while ago! But at last summer has finally hit and the weather has been beautiful lately. Yumi are running #Yumi30DaysOfSummer campaign and are asking 30 fashion bloggers what their favourite Yumi summer outfit is. I chose this stunning Polka Dot Chambray Dress from their new SS15 range as my outfit to wear last Sunday. A cotton dress is a summer style staple for me, and I love this one because it’s the perfect length for me and also has a flattering shape as it…

Last week bloggy pal Terri kindly invited me along to Bluestone in Wales with her and her boyfriend.  Liam came too and we all had a jolly little holiday together and stayed at one of the two bedroomed lodges in the cosy Bluestone resort. It takes a good 4+ hours to drive down there, but it was worth it as I had a lovely little midweek break for two nights. For the first night I made spaghetti bolognese at the lodge as it has a fully equipped self catering kitchen, and although my cooking skills aren’t up to much I…

I had originally wanted to take these photos out in the snow but by the time I got outside it had all melted! Such a shame as it looked so pretty. Over the last couple of years I’ve become a big fan of Barbour and I love their English heritage style and excellent quality. Barbour Liddesdale Jacket  My new quilted Barbour Liddesdale jacket from Repertoire Fashion has kept me so nice and snug in the snow and morning chill recently, as it has a very warm Sherpa lining (polyester sheepskin). It also has a soft corduroy collar and embroidered yellow…

I hope everyone has had an amazing couple of days with their friends and family for Christmas! Unfortunately I have to work this weekend (boo hoo) but then I’m off for 5 days from Thursday and am going to a private cottage we’ve rented near Stratford Upon Avon. Me and Liam are going to have our own mini Christmas day as he’s been working away, which means more roasts, cheese boards, and lots of wine. Also we will have our own hot tub and open fire which I’m super excited about.. yay! Yesterday was a beautiful sunny day, even though…
