I’ve been really excited to do this blog post and show you this amazing dress that I was sent from Voodoo Vixen! Voodoo Vixen is a vintage inspired label, which combines retro, pin-up and rockabilly styles, and their pieces are designed to compliment curves. They currently stock from size XS up to a size XL and from later this they will  be launching a plus-size collection up to a size 4XL! So they pretty much cater for everybody, and their gorgeous custom prints are designed in-house in both London and Los Angeles. They have just released some gorgeous new pieces…

The last couple of weeks I’ve been on quite a health kick. I’ve ditched (most of) the bad habits I had before and tried to do a lot more exercise. I’ve started making a packed lunch for work of pitta bread, houmous, carrots and cucumber, or a salad. Instead of snacking on chocolate and cake I’ve been having fruit and yogurt (sometimes crackers and cheese but shh). I normally find exercise boring but I tried to keep it varied last week, by going to 2 different gyms, a zumba session, a bike ride, and using the treadmill at home. There’s…

I had quite an abnormally sociable weekend last weekend, as I went out on Friday night and again on Sunday night! God bless British Bank Holidays. On Friday night I went up to Stoke to go out with Terri and Alex, and then on Sunday I went out with my lovely friends from work. I’m not really much of a party girl but I do like to go out for a drink and a dance occasionally. I recently got to pick a party dress from Chi Chi, who do the most amazing special occasion dresses! I chose the Tilly dress because when I first saw it I thought the colours were gorgeous and not shades I usually wear. I tend to stick to pastels rather than brights, but I also never wear strapless dresses! So I took the plunge and picked this amazing dress.  I thought the graphic print originally was just roses, but if you…

I still have plenty left over on the Laura Ashley giftcard I won last summer, so I recently popped instore to treat myself because I saw they had a sale on. I made a few lovely purchases, including this Pane Check Dress. I absolutely love the 50’s style of the dress and I’m loving checked prints this season. I rarely wear pink so I thought this would make a nice change for summer! The dress is made from a lovely sheer, soft cotton, with a shaped bodice, full flouncy skirt, and a tie belt around the waist. I’m not really…
