For the Halloween weekend I went up to Manchester with Terri to see our friend Alex who has recently moved there. We’d made plans to spend the day shopping in the city centre, and we then had a table booked for lunch, before we went on a night out dressed up for Halloween. The day mildly went to plan, although I didn’t get too much shopping done. But I’d never been to Manchester before (bit too far north for me) so it was great to see the city and mooch around a bit.. the place is huge! As much as…

A few weekends ago Liam and I were lucky enough to go on one of the most perfect weekends ever courtesy of the lovely people at Bluestone Wales. After a (ridiculously) long journey to the far corner of south west Wales, we arrived late in the evening and were greeted and directed to our own little lodge in the resort. The Bluestone resort has a no car policy but they allow you to drop off your bags and then move the car to the main car park. I thought this might be a bit of a pain but it was…

After Liams army pass out parade a few weeks ago in Yorkshire, and after we spent an amazing night at the Ox Pasture Hall Hotel in Scarborough, we spent his week off bumbling about and visiting nice bits of the UK. We first drove from the hotel in Scarborough to York to spend the day in the beautiful city and stroll around the shops. The gothic cathedral is stunning, and it was a glorious sunny day. We stopped to have food at All Bar One, which I’d never been to before and I was really impressed! We had some bits…

After celebrating Liam’s pass out parade in Catterick up in Yorkshire, we decided to make a nice weekend of it. We were invited to stay at the Ox Pasture Hall Hotel for the night in one of their suites, which was perfect for a nice relaxing one night stay for the two of us. It’s located just outside of Scarborough, which was a little bit of a drive from Catterick but worth the journey!  Hotel It’s a luxury country house hotel, which we found was really warm and welcoming and the gardens and grounds are really nicely kept. There was…

Following on my from previous post about what to pack for Leeds festival, here’s some photos from the actual weekend itself. Terri’s much better at her blogging schedule than I am, and she got her post up weeks ago, with some more photos! As I mentioned in my packing blog post, I didn’t pack much to wear, and I pretty much lived in my Tallulah’s Threads daisy print coord. The weather was so weird that I kept taking my tights and jacket on and off depending on if the sun was out or not! A quick run down of the…

So this blog post is a couple of weeks late.. sorry about that! I’ve been insanely busy since getting back from Leeds Festival over the bank holiday weekend, and today is the first chance I’ve had to upload some photos. So.. Terri and I went to Leeds festival for the second year running (see last years adventures here) as we were super lucky that the amazing people at Popcorn Outdoor picked Terri as a winner of a pair of guest tickets. I’ll be doing a separate blog post with photos from the actual festival, but for now here’s what I…
