As I mentioned in my last post, there were lots of lovely second hand shops around Cambridgeshire, and the RSPCA charity shop stuck out for me especially, however it was closed, and my heart sank πŸ™ There were 3 teacups and saucers that I really loved and had my eye on, so I was so disappointed I couldn’t buy any. On Sunday I went with my parents to visit a couple of little towns in Cambridgeshire. We like to just wonder around and look at different pretty places, visit new shops, and eat some delicious food! First we went to a market town called March, which is just a little place with a river and a few shops. It was a really cold day, so I had to wear my big bulky coat! It was really wonderful and I’m so glad I just…

We went for tea at the Grosvenor Hotel. The package included a selection of sandwiches (salmon, cheese, ham etc), a bunch of little cakes, scones with jam and cream, and then a chocolate fondue with fruit and marshmallows! Yum yum! As it was ‘tea for two’ I…

We had home made scones with cream and strawberry jam in a tea room out in the sun, and visited the Cathedral and antique shop. Also had a quick spy in Primark (which was unusually quiet!). Here are a few photos of my day and the goodies I bought. Not my photo –…
