Today I got rather burnt on my holiday! But I did visit a beautiful garden with lots of pretty birds and water features and have a big yummy dinner. Before I left for holiday I prepared a load of blog posts to publish whilst away, so here’s another short one. Here are some of the goodies I’ve picked up recently in charity shops. Nothing too exciting, but bargains are always fun!
The little tiny middle deer ornament is made by Wade and I picked it up for £1 from a second hand shop. The other two kitsch vintage fawns were picked up from eBay and another charity shop. I now have a cute little woodland collection!
This is entirely random, but my parents were looking for a new suitcase or holdall luggage for holiday. I happened to see this massive one in the corner of a charity shop. The shop was a more ‘upper priced’ one so I was expecting it to have been priced up a bit crazy by one of the elderly volunteers. But this was labelled at only £2.99!! It’s basically new, and huge, and perfect for what we needed. When we got home, I Googled the brand; Atlantic Luggage, and found it’s a US brand sold in Macys and this suitcase is sold for $99! Bargain! £2.99 for a full sized suitcase is such a good deal, and much better quality than a cheap Argos one.
These Dorothy Perkins tan sandals are real leather and still had the £18.99 price tag on. I bought them for only £3.50! Perfect for summer, and such a bargain as they’re real leather.
This cute sheer River Island blouse has a really pretty swallow print and matte gold buttons, and it was mine for only £3.25 from the same charity shop! I’ve worn this to work already with a nude vest underneath and a navy blue skater skirt.
This dress was actually bought by my Mum but thought it was worth showing you. It’s by Wallis and she got it for only £4.99. It’s got a pretty swish fruity print all over it, and is made from a really soft good quality cotton. She’s worn this on holiday!
Mum also picked up this gorgeous designer top for only £4.95. It is by Alex & Co (who I’ve not heard of before) but it was still new with tags which showed an RRP of £45! It’s really gorgeous and is perfect from holidays.
And finally, I got this pastel pink River Island blazer. I bought this to wear to my nephews Christening in case it was raining to wear over my cream lace dress, but I didn’t need it in the end as it was so nice and sunny! I will probably resell this as I don’t think blazers suit me at all, but it cost me £5.
So that’s all my charity shop bargains that I’ve picked up lately! Have you found anything good/valuable?
