Just a quick nail post this evening. I bought these two Barry M Gelly Hi-Shine nail polishes a few weeks ago and I’ve worn them both already and love them! They’re the first gel-shine type polishes I’ve tried but I really like the glossy finish and bold colours. I want the whole set! But the two I bought are Greenberry and Blood Orange. Firstly Greenberry; it is a gorgeous vibrant minty turquoise green which is really bright and cheerful. I think this is perfect for summer and I will certainly be wearing this when my holiday comes around.  Secondly, Blood…

Afternoon everyone! Hope you’re all having a lovely weekend and enjoying the little bit of sunshine we’re having! Last week I decided to try out a couple of nail polishes that I’ve owned for a while but not worn. So I wore a base coat of Ciate Holiday Blues, and then one coat of Models Own Freak Out.  I love Holiday Blues as it’s a lovely sky blue colour and Ciate polishes are nice and glossy. I wasn’t sure what the Models Own Freak Out glitter polish would pair up nicely with, but I decided to wear it with Holiday…

Hi all 🙂 I’ve been manicly baking, decorating, and delivering cakes all over the county today in time for Mothers Day. I’m tired! Some of the deliveries were direct to the Mum’s as surprises though which is nice! Anyway, today I wanted to show you my nails from last week which was using an Essie polish from my Essie Winter Mini Collection which I reviewed last month. One of my favourite shades from the set has to be this stunning turquoise blue! It’s called Where’s My Chauffer? and I love it. It’s a really bright colour and I think it’s…

I picked up this mini set of Essie nail polishes in the Boxing Day sales and completely forgot about them until this week! I don’t know how I forgot, because they’re such gorgeous shades. I initially was trying to find a full sized version of the red glitter Leading Lady, but just after Christmas, it was no where to be found.  But then I spied this mini set on ASOS reduced from £16.95 to £12.50 so I bought it because I really wanted Leading Lady. However, once it arrived, I actually realised how much I adored all of the shades!…

I decided to have another go at doing Cath Kidstonfloral printed nails and I’m happier with the outcome this time. They’re actually surprisingly easy to do once you get the hand of it and have a steady hand! I used Barry M Blue Moon for the base and then a white nail art pen for the dots. For the flowers I just used a dark pink and made little 5 petaled flowers. Then whilst it’s still wet i did a little blob of lighter pink, and then a darker pink on top! And that’s it! Then I just added on…

I’m off to the gym tonight for the first time ever. I’m pretty terrified if I’m honest. I’m doing the Legs, Tums and Bums class tonight, then I have my first ever Spinning session next week. Eeek! I’ve also been doing the 30 Day Shred, I’m on day 6 today! Has anyone had any good results from this? Anyway I’ve scheduled this post for whilst I’m out sweating to death… I rarely do much nail art using patterns and snazzy stuff, but I have purchased a few nail art products which should be useful when I have time to do…
