I love a bit of novelty, and I’m always interested in something if it’s personalised or has my name on! Although (obviously) not custom made for me, this nail polish from Rimmel caught my eye last week and I had to buy it. I also have the As You Want Victoria lipstick from Rimmel for the same reasons… It’s called ‘Mind The Gap, Victoria’, which seems to be part of a line of nail polishes named after London Tube stations. But…

Whenever I’ve seen beige or nudey coloured nail polish in the shops, I’ve never picked one up. I always thought they looked a bit boring and gross, and brighter shades have always appealed to me much more! But I recently saw my friend Isabelle with nude nails and I really liked it. I’ve been thinking about what nail polish to use next week when I’m on holiday.. and I think I’ve found a winner! A quick little nail post for you this evening. Last weekend I went out for my friends leaving party as she’s gone to work in Lapland for the season (I know, jealous). So (obviously) the theme of the party was Winter Wonderland Christmassy themed!  I wore a red velvet dress and reindeer ears, and painted my nails with this festive Nails Inc polish. It’s called Noel Street and is Limited Edition, although I got it last year and it’s still for…

Another bargain beauty post including NYC! I usually tend to stick to bright or pastel colours for my nails, but now that summers over I’ve started experimenting with darker colours for Autumn. I’ve never tried black nails before, as I always thought they’d be a bit too gothic for me. But I saw this black glittery top coat in Superdrug and decided I’d give it a try!  As a base coat I used Miss Sporty Lasting Colour Nail Fatal Black, which…
