As I entered the show on a Press Pass, I was given a free show guide and press pack. The show guide cost £2 for visitors, and it contained lots of info on the exhibitors and demonstrations, as well as some helpful decorating tips.
I also saw this ad for the Prima Homemade Show which looks fab! It’s a bit far away for me though, as its being held at Bluewater in Kent. This event will be showcasing the latest products, demonstrations and workshops in the world of creative crafts; including knitting, sewing, jewellery making, quilting, cardmaking and papercraft.
So these are my first new buys, lustre dusts. These colourful and shimmering edible glitters can be used for a subtle appearance by applying thin layers with a fine paintbrush on to the surface of dried icing. I picked up a pearlescent shade, and then a pale pink and pale blue. These were £2 each.
I also bought these teatime cookie cutters. The teapot one was £1.55 and the cupcake one was £2.99. I’ve also bought a teacup shaped one on eBay for £2 but it’s from Hong Kong so may take a while to come! I should have just ordered all 3 in the Wilton set but I wasn’t that clever.
I bought these Wilton Flowerful Medley sprinkles for £1.50 I think! There’s 6 different types of colourful sugar shapes including butterflies, daisies, hearts and polka dots!
I also got this red glitter sparkle gel for only 50p! I’m not sure what I’m going to use it for yet though. Maybe drawing hearts or as part of a UJ flag for the jubilee?
This Renshaw fondant icing in Indigo was only £1, and I got the last one in this colour!
This is my favourite buy of the day. Its a bow cutter and ejector set and it was £5.50. I’m not 100% sure how you’re supposed to use it, but I’ve tested it and pretty much got the hang of it!
And also I picked these up for only 49p from Tescos, as they were left over from their Easter range.
Edited to add: These three things are new too 🙂 I am planning on using the big ceramic bowl for making a teapot shaped cake! It was only £2.30 from Amazon. The rolling pin was £3 from Hong Kong, and the smoother was £3 from eBay 🙂

As far as I know the bows are tappits. You just press it into your icing then tap off a hard surface to get it out! I've seen a couple of videos on YouTube! Great haul!
These ones are kind of on a spring board and you have to push them down but the spring is only really small! But you have to use ALL the bow cutters at once because its all on one long piece which is annoying x
the teacup cutter is the cutest! Please blog about your biscuits when you make them, I would love to see it!
Will do! xx
