Using the £100 Lipsy giftcard that I won at the beginning of the year (lucky, I know!) I decided to make the most of my money by waiting until the sale started so I could buy more! The Lipsy summer sale started a couple of weeks ago, and I bought these three lovely items, and I still have money to spare!
So here’s what I got. Lipsy fashion is usually super stunning, but very dressy, and I rarely ever need to get dressed up for an occasion, so I didn’t want to waste money buying a gorgeous dress that never gets worn. However, I did decide to buy one fancy going out dress!
I picked this gorgeous watermelon coloured embellished babydoll dress. It was in the sale for £35, reduced from £70. It’s a gorgeous colour, and the fit is amazing. It really makes me feel like a fairy princess! It’s really floaty, and the sheer fabric is lovely and light. The black detail and the embellishment gives it some edge. I love it. Not that I have any nights out planned!
I also picked up this lovely dress, for the bargain price of only £22.50! That’s so cheap for such a lovely quality dress. It is similar to my new Ted Baker dress, but this is a little more casual and looks perfect for a summers day out. It has a crochet daisy top, and shirt buttons and collar. I love the mesh skirt, its so soft and floaty! And again, it fits me really nicely! It was reduced, half price from £50.
Lastly, I bought this very cute floral full skirt, which was reduced from £30 to £18. It’s quite a thick cotton, and it has a zip up side. I felt that this had my name written all over it, so I just had to buy it! Normally these types of skirt make me look very bottom-heavy but this one is quite flattering as it doesnt stick out too much. And I just love the ultra girly vintage style floral pattern!
What do you think of my buys? Which one is your favourite? I still have £22 left to spend!
