This week is National Cupcake Week (September 17 – 23)! National Cupcake Week is organised by British Baker magazine to celebrate the nation’s fanaticism with this glorious sweet bakery product. The aim of the week is to celebrate the many wonderful recipes and exotic flavours available from bakeries, shops, supermarkets and cafes across the UK.
I had an urge to bake some traditional British fairy cakes, so I made these pretty ones! Yum! They’re just vanilla sponge with pink icing on, and then decorated with Wilton multicolour sprinkles! Nice and simples, but they taste so good!

They look so yummy! I didn't even know that cupcakes had a whole week dedicated to them xx
These have got my stomach seriously rumbling!!

Even my simple cupcakes never look as good or as neat as these! (: There's normally icing and sprinkles all over the sides! xx

The only problem with pretty cakes is that it's such as shame to eat them! These look yummy 🙂
