I met up with Terri and Frances at the train station and we walked and chatted up to the event. We were the first in as we’re super keen! We were welcomed by the lovelies from Punk PR and DaisyStreet and we’re offered a glass of champers when we came in. We also were given a tag with our names on to put onto our favourite item which we will then receive to review! What a fun and interactive idea! So we soon got excitedly examining their rails of new fashion. There was lots of fur coats (which Terri fussed over and eventually chose, as did Frances), disco pants in every colour, big heels, and velvet (my fav!).
Of course, I picked a gorgeous velvet and lace dress which I cannot wait to receive and then show you! It’s the perfect party dress for Christmas and I hope to be able to wear it on the big day itself! For the rest of the evening everyone was chatting, and we were given all kinds of nibbles, as well as a big yellow DaisyStreet cupcake tower! Again.. my fav! They were delish!
Overall it was a really fab fun evening, and I was so glad to finally meet Frances and a couple of other bloggers I hadn’t met before. I can’t get enough of these blogger meets! I also happened to bump into Sarah from Friday is Forever on Friday afternoon, in our tiny village which we both happen to share! We’ve followed each others blogs for a while, and only recently realised we live near each other, so we both recognised one another. What a funny small world 🙂 Anyway here are some photos from the event, and also my OOTD, which of course, happens to be velvet. You can never have too much velvet in December!
