MissGuided Green Velvet Dress OOTD ♥

I went for a beast of a Chinese buffet lunch last weekend and oh my gosh it was yum! I could eat so many of those yummy little ribs and bowls of strawberry jelly! I used to hate Chinese food but I’m quite into it now! I don’t really like noodles though eughhh. Anyway I wore this dress from MissGuided out for lunch as there was no snow so I could wear what I liked!
You haven’t seen me wear velvet in all of about a week.. so here you go! Something else new (I don’t think I ever wear the same thing twice!), I bought this lush deep bottle green velvet skater dress from MissGuided using a voucher I won 🙂 It was £18.99 and it’s really nice and thick! I like the very long sleeves and scooped neckline. It’s probably a little short and thigh baring on me, but ho hum. I wore it with a black skinny belt which kept turning itself the wrong way around, and some black Chelsea booties. Nice and simple but I love the colour.
Also I just wanted to compliment my own hair. Most of you will probably remember me as being very blonde less than 6 months ago. I was a little reluctant to change hair colour but I did it and although it was a massive change at the time I’m so much happier with my brunette locks. Look how nice it looks in these photos compared to this post and how horrendous it looked in my More Magazine feature! It was so dry and dead and literally everytime I brushed my hair LOADS of little one inch bits of dead hair would fall out all over the place. It was so weak it would just snap off everytime I touched it. My carpet was full of minging dead hair and my boyfriend hated me brushing my hair near his clothes!
But now I’m happy to say it’s healthy and shinier and it’s also growing quicker. When it was dead it just seemed to get shorter and not grow, but now I am so pleased with it 🙂 So I’d recommend to anyone that’s fed up of having to bleach their hair every 6 weeks and have dry ends and weak hair, be brave and change colour! I was so scared I’d look ‘boring’ but honestly I looked stupid with blonde hair. I use hair oils on it and they make a world of difference to the texture and shine of my hair. The only thing I now have to worry about is Merlin kittens white fluff getting stuck to everything, including this dress!
Would anyone be interest in some hair oil reviews?! I’ve tried quite a few! What do you think of the dress too?

Love this dress, I'm quite fancying a velvet dress but I too have a white cat and am not sure if I could cope with the fur sticking to it!
Your hair is looking really nice and healthy. xx

Missguided are going up in my books at the moment and this dress proves why! xx it's stunning!

And my hair used to be the same, it went everywhere and I had to vacumn every day but I started to not wash my hair everyday, and I use a few serums and heat protectants now and it's worked a treat!
