Recent Victoria’s Vintage Bakes ♥

Evening everyone. Just a short post to show you a few cakes and bakes I’ve made over the last few weeks 🙂  I am attending my village fete in May which is expecting to have 1,800 visitors! I hope the weather is nice but not too hot.. otherwise my cakes will melt! I’m quite stressed about it to be honest as I’ve not done an event before. I’ve no idea how many cakes to make or how I will ever have the time to do it!
Also, would anyone be interested in seeing a little step by step guide on how to start a business (not cakes in particular)? I’m no expert, but getting a business officially off the ground and following rules and reglations can be tough, and I found it hard to find simple tips. People can be secretive about their money making skills! And I think I’ve got a fairly good grasp of my business skills so far, with regards to budgeting, marketing etc.
Hope you like the photos! And please pop over and like my cake business Facebook page 🙂
I made this big choccy cake for a customer. She was very happy, I used a new chocolate fudge recipe which came out lovely!
I made these little fairy cakes for work when it was Comic Relief 🙂
This is a terrible photo of some of my favourite cupcakes that I made for a customer at Easter! Those little bunnies and chicks make my heart melt.

This is a little mini birthday cake I made for a returning customer! I was quite pleased how this turned out even though it’s quite simple. I find icing cakes difficult and prefer doing cupcakes!

And finally, my Mum made these and I helped decorate them with her. They are a traditional Easter biscuit in Malta (where my Mum is from, I’m half Maltese!) and they are giant almond and lemon flavoured biscuits covered in sweet glace icing and decorated with mini eggs!
