Hello all! I hope you’re having a lovely sunny weekend 🙂 I finally had to patience to wait for my Blogger to upload these photos. It’s taken over an hour to upload these!! Stupid thing, I hope it fixes soon! Today I have been busy baking and preparing for Monday, because I’m planning on attending my first cake sale event! I will be going to my local carboot sale (which doesn’t start until late) to sell my cupcakes! I’m really excited but also nervous… I could not sell any, or I could sell out within an hour.. who knows! I thought it would be good practise though for future so I know if stall events are worth it.
Anyway, here’s what I’ve been buying lately! This has been over the last two weeks on various little trips out.
Firstly, this gorgeous mint green dress was only £14.99 from H&M! My favourite store has once again made me very happy, as you will see with the majority of this post.. I love H&M! The dress is a gorgeous colour and is made of quite a thick fabric which is slightly textured.
These two lacey tops were 50% off at H&M, so were only £3.99! I bought one of each as I thought they would be really useful for summer, and I’ve already worn the white one. I was going to buy one of these from New Look but they were over £10 so glad I waited and found these instead.
I’ve worn this skirt a couple of times already for work. I love the deep green colour and skater skirt style. This was only £7.99 from H&M, and they did it in a few other colours too.
Another mint green dress from H&M, but this one is much more casual. It’s made of a thin jersey cotton material and is really light and floaty. Dipped hem skirts may not be so hot this summer as they were last year, but I still love this style! And it was a complete bargain at only £7.99!
I love this skirt! It was only £14.99 from New Look, and my friend gave me a 25% off voucher too. It’s made of a stretchy denim look fabric, but is really lightweight and I love the shape of it. I find it looks quite flattering, although I chose to get a size up so it wasn’t so tight around my hips and was also a bit longer. I don’t usually like denim, but this is really cute and versatile. I’ve worn it for 2 dress down Fridays at work already!
I bought this bikini online from Matalan, as Terri shared an awesome discount code on Twitter. The codes expired now, but she found one that got £10 off anything with no minimum spend. So I bought this bikini which was originally £11 for only £1! Woo! It has a really cute broderie anglaise pattern and bows on it. A bargain even at £11 I think!
Using the same discount code, I also decided to buy myself this stripey onesie, originally £12 but I got it for £2!
This white and blue china print dress is a gorgeous fit and shape, and I absolutely love the pattern. It was £13 from Primark (a bit pricey I thought!) but I really do like it.
This chiffon dress with crochet peter pan collar was only £6.99 from Hypnotic in Birmingha aka the £7 gyppo shop! I think the pattern is really cute, it’s orignally by Glamorous 🙂
I bought this floral pinafore dress from the River Island sale. I never usually shop there, but I was browsing online for a pinafore and saw this one and they had my size and it was a free delivery special offer day so I went ahead and bought it! I’ve worn it once already but I’m a little unsure about it as I sure do feel childish in it! I will do an OOTD in it soon 🙂 It’s still available to buy in all sizes online for only £12 (was £25).
And finally, I bought this pretty smart floral Oasis dress from John Lewis. It was also in the sale reduced from £45 to £20, and I bought it as I had £20 credit on my John Lewis online account and couldn’t decide on anything else to buy. It’s really lovely though and I’m impressed with the quality.. better than my usual Primark tat!
I also received this pretty floral dress to review from Choies, but unfortunately it’s too small! 🙁 It’s really pretty though, it would look really lovely for summer.
So that’s it! 🙂 Whats your favourite thing I’ve bought?
