AX Paris Aztec Dress & Chicwish Crochet Cardigan ♥

Another day.. another dress! I wore this aztec skater dress that I was sent by AX Paris at the weekend, an I also managed to pull it off at work too! I’ve always been a fan of aztec prints, but I’ve never been brave enough to try wearing it for myself. Usually aztec comes in bold prints in really bright colours, and that always puts me off a bit as it’s not very ‘me’. So when I saw this aztec dress in monochrome, I thought it would be an ideal way for me to try the trend. 

I love skater dresses, and this one fits amazingly! Sometimes the waistline can be too high/low/tight/loose but this one is just right for me. The fabric is also really soft and floaty, but thick enough that it doesn’t feel like a flimsy summer dress. The skirt on the dress falls really nicely, and I find the high neckline surprisingly flattering. 

The weather was really nice on Sunday, so I wore the dress with my new crochet cardigan from Chicwish. I’m now a massive fan of Asian store Chicwish, as they sell an absolute tonne of amazing stuff! Although I wasn’t really sure how to wear this cardigan, or what to wear it with, I thought it went with this dress pretty reasonably. I love the pretty sleeves on the cardigan, and they do a nice job of covering my upper arms!
