Hollywood Glamour OOTD ♥

So I’m a little bit slow to the trend of midi dresses, but now I’ve tried a few out I pretty much love them! I’ve bought a few jersey ones in multiple colours for work, but I’m yet to be brave enough to buy a patterned one. I wasn’t sure a midi dress would be a good look for me because my bottom half is a little bit big, and I usually prefer to hide it in flared skirts. But after sucking up enough courage to try one on, I actually feel fairly comfortable in them, although; be aware of VPL!

I was sent this classic black midi length dress by Karma Clothing. I love the Bardot off the shoulder sleeves, and I think it looks pretty glam and simple for a night out. It doesn’t need much accessorising, and I feel it looks best with plain heels and a sleek red lipstick/nail polish combo. The only thing I don’t like so much about midi dresses is the fact it makes my calves look a little stumpy, and I worry my belly sticks out a little.. but never mind! Sticking to darker colours seems to work well to hide lumps and bumps. The dress is a bargain too at only £9.99!
