Lazy Weekend & Merlin Update ♥

So this weekend has been a fairly lazy one. My parents have been away on holiday so I had the house to myself which was nice! To be honest I spent the majority of the time in my nice new pyjamas, in bed with fresh bedding relaxing! I’ve recently discovered Netflix so I’ve been glued to my Apple iPad watching TV shows all weekend.. mainly trying to get into Breaking Bad (and failing) and loving Louis Theroux documentaries! It’s amazing how time flies when you don’t get out of bed all day haha. I thought when I first got my iPad that I wouldn’t get much use out of it, but I find myself using it more than my laptop these days, and apps like Instagram, Netflix, 4OD etc make it the perfect lazy day accessory!

Another perfect nice warm bed accessory is probably a pet. Merlin has been by my side all weekend, snuggling into me and being a bed hog. He hasn’t had much show time on the blog lately, so I thought I’d update you with a few photos of him from recent weeks. He’s a big boy now for sure! He’s about 18 months old now, but he doesn’t stop growing until he’s about 4 years old, so he’s still getting bigger! 

He’s not so active now that he’s not a kitten, but he still loves to play with cotton buds and has his hyperactive moments of running around like a loonpig. But his favourite hobby lately is of course sleeping.. he has his own little bed and he’s learnt that it’s ‘his’ bed and that’s where you’ll usually find him. In the mornings he comes and gives me a nuzzle with his nose and cuddles into me purring until it’s time for me to get up. He also likes to sit on my laptop keyboard when I’m trying to use it as it must be nice and warm for him. Oh and he’s also made good friends with my 1 year old nephew, he plays with him on the floor and lets him crawl around chasing him!
