Primark Tartan Collar Dress OOTD ♥

Happy Weekend Everyone! It’ Saturday woo! Here’s a work outfit I wore last week to the office. I’ve been dying to get my hands on this dress! I felt so lucky to find it in Primark in Hanley when I was up north visiting Terri, but when I got it home I realised the zip was faulty! I immediately rushed to my local Primark in hope they had them in stock, and to my luck they had three dresses hidden in a corner, and one was my size.. Hurrah!!
This cute little dress is only £15, and although it’s a bit of an awkward shape and fit, I really do like it. It just feels a little tight around my back and shoulders, but as long as I don’t try doing and push ups in it I should be fine. It was perfectly comfortable for a whole day at work. It’s a shape that I don’t usually go for, as I usually prefer flared skater skirts, but I think this shape is actually reasonable flattering. I think it’s because the waist seam is actually at waist height and not too high or low. It’s got the sweetest little white Peter Pan collar with a black bow too. I love it! Sorry the photos are rubbish, this gloomy weather makes my blogging life hard.
On another note, I’m thinking of taking a little blog break. Life is so stressfulzzz. x

  6. I've seen a few bloggers talking about this dress and I can understand why, it's so pretty! I'm the same with dresses, I prefer when they flare out as I feel it compliments my body shape (which is similar to yours) so I usually avoid dresses of this shape, but I really do like this, I might pick one up myself when I venture to Primark next. 😀

It looks so lovely on you! You have a great taste in fashion. 🙂

  8. Tartan is perfect for this time of year (not to mention hot on trend!). Even though you say you usually stick to skater skirt / vintage fit and flare shapes, this silhouette does really suit you 🙂

  10. I bought this dress too! Glad you mentioned about the awkward fit, I worried I'd OD on too much chocolate the past week or so as I can barely lift my arms up in it without the sleeve digging in! (Not that I'm planning on raising my arms above my head in it too often!)

Love it though, and for £15 it'll do whilst tartan is 'in' this season! You wear it well!

  16. I have this dress too, yaay!! I saw it online then when I was in store, though I found it, but it turned out to be a sheer floaty version that I didn't like as much. I finally found this one just as we were leaving though and looove it 😀 It looks amazing on you! I wore mine recently on my blog tooo: http://www.rebelangel.co.uk/2013/10/primark-tartan-dress.html

  19. Ooh love the choices, they sadly don't suit me that well but they're soo nice! My favourite is probably the one with the collar too, but that might be just because I like how its styled, other than that one my second favorite is probably the second of the row:)xx about high end dresses

  20. I've just done one of my very first blog posts on this dress too! I totally agree, it is tight across the back, I had to buy a size larger than anything I've ever bought from Primark, ever!
