Pound Shop Beauty Buys Haul ♥

Last weekend I went into Bedford town centre instead of my usual shops in Milton Keynes, and I came away with loads of new goodies! They have a Poundland, Pound World, and a 99p Store in Bedford, and for once I actually didn’t pick up anything in Poundland, but got lots from the other two stores. I don’t usually like the 99p Store as I used to find it really tacky and it doesn’t help the store in Bedford is underground, dark, cramped, and has an odd smell. But I’m glad I persevered into the cave shop as I got some great beauty bargains! They also had China Glaze shatter nail polishes for 50p in the 99p Store, and lots of Barry M (odd colours) stuff in Pound World.

I’ve mentioned these a couple of times before, these Eylure pre-glued lashes are a steal at only £1 from Pound World! I adore them, they are my favourite false lashes ever as they’re so much easier to use as you don’t need to mess about with glue. They’re also perfect for me as they’re not too long and fake but still look glamorous and natural. I noticed this time they had a couple of different styles, one thick and one more natural, so I picked up both pairs! Amazing, definitely highly recommend these. They’re £5.50 online!

I have actually been looking for a new moisturiser, and I stumbled upon this hidden away in the 99p Store (RRP approx. £9). It’s the L’oreal Revitalift Protection Fluid. It comes in Japanese packaging, but with the ingredients listed on the back. It’s described as a UV block make up base with SPF 35. I’ve been using this for over a week now and I’m really happy with it. Although it comes out of the tube in a bit of a funny colour, it keeps my skin smooth and moist.

I don’t know too much about Coppertone but I’ve seen it featured in a few places, so I assume it is a good brand so picked this up! It’s an SPF 4 tanning spray (sun cream), that is waterproof and sandproof, and it sprays on clear. They had tonnes of this stuff in the 99p Store, all different types and I think some fake tan too. I think it’s being sold cheaply as this is Japanese packaging again, and it also seems to have recently been repackaged. This is usually $10 per can so a good deal!

I’ve also recently been looking for a new pair of eyelash curlers as my trusty No. 7 ones from Boots are a bit worn out now. I saw this pair in Pound World and on closer look, they are the Virgin Vie ones, RRP 6. Unfortunately, they are really really rubbish. They don’t have a spring in them so they don’t really do anything unless you really force them. Don’t buy these!

These 3 hair bits are all from the 99p store. I thought I’d give the two permanant hair dyes a go as I usually use Poundlands own brand anyway, and these are proper brands; Garnier Color Naturals and Schwarzkoph Mousse Color. I also have tried the Schwarzkoph got2b dry shampoo (RRP £3) before and it’s just as good if not better than Batiste, and such a good deal!
