Wedding Decorations

My sister has bought loads of decorations and pretty things for the wedding, and these cute pieces are from one of my favourite websites, DotComGiftShop. We’re planning on hanging the ‘bride and groom’ wooden sign up on the top table, and the rose garland fairy lights will go on the cake table.
Accessories

These are the shoes I plan to wear, as my bridesmaid dress is a dusky pink colour so they match perfectly! I bought them for only £24.99 from New Look, and I love the suttle bit of bling on them. Hopefully as they’re not too high, they’ll stay on my feet the whole day! I also picked up these cute sparkly pearl hair slides from Primark.

I’ve not decided on what jewellery to wear just yet, but I do love this super sparkly bracelet I bought from Primark, but I think the slightly understated pearl one may be more suitable. It would also match my pearl box clutch bag too!
Hair and Beauty
I
had a hair trial the other day to see what kind of style I would like
for the day, and I think I quite like this messy up-do. I never usually
wear my hair up, but I do like how it looks to the side slightly loose.
I’ve also been experimenting with how I would like my nails, and I’m not
sure whether to go for a classic French manicure, or something like
this with a bit of glitter on a nude nail.

So this is a little peek of my dress (it needs steaming!) which has one shoulder and flows to the floor. I love it! I’m the only adult bridesmaid at the wedding, along with my little niece who will be wearing a similar dress. I’m hoping we can get lots of beautiful family photos taken on the day so that I can gift a ParrotPrintCanvas to my sister for her birthday as a reminder of her special day.
I’ve also been on the look out for long-lasting beauty products to try, and this brow kit from Christian Faye has been great so far. It lasts all day and is also water resistant (fingers crossed there won’t be any rain showers on the day) and is perfect for creating defined eyebrows. I love the stencils that come with the kit, which make it really easy to ensure your brows are perfectly sleek.

Hen Party

My sisters hen party was a couple of weekends ago, and we had a the best time in Brighton! There was four of us in total, and we stayed in an apartment on the main part of West Street, which was perfectly located.
I wore this cute coral polka dot dress from Apricot during the day, as we went for afternoon tea at the Hilton Hotel on the seafront, and luckily the sun was shining. I’d never been to Brighton before, but it is so beautiful! I was pretty stunned by the gorgeous golden beach and blue sea, and we had some fun playing in the arcades on the pier.

The first part of the hen party was the afternoon tea at the Hilton Brighton Metropole, which was such a lovely relaxing setting, and the staff couldn’t have done enough for us. We enjoyed a few glasses of wine over our sandwiches, cream scones, and little cakes.

Aw, how exciting!! I stopped by for a bit of last-minute inspiration as it's my big day in two weeks, eek!
Hope your sister has a lovely day, and that you enjoy being bridesmaid – your outfit looks fab xx
