I was recently invited by Aspire Style to take part in a fashion challenge along with 5 other bloggers. I was asked to pick an item of clothing from the beautiful Aspire Style collection to style up. I have been a fan of Aspire for a few years now, ever since stumbling across their fabulous store in Stratford upon Avon. They do a stunning range of dresses from brands such as Sugarhill Boutique, Louche, and Yumi.
I decided to go for the beautiful Emily and Fin Abigail dress in a red and white polka dot print. It’s the perfect classic vintage style dress, with a full skirted and a boat shaped neckline and scooped back. I love the shape and fit of this dress, and I can’t wait for a special occasion to come along so I can show it off properly!
I decided to team the dress with a skinny white bow belt to accentuate the waist, as well as a pair of navy blue polka dot heels. I’ve had these shoes for years but I’m ashamed to say I’ve never actually worn them! They’re a bit high for me, but they are beautiful, and I think they look great with the dress. You can never have too much polka dot, right? And finally I accessorized with a vintage leather navy blue handbag which I picked up in a charity shop a little white ago. It’s my new favourite bag!
