So I went to get my eyes tested last weekend (in true thrifty style I went to Tesco as they do free eye tests!) as I’d noticed that my glasses weren’t quite good enough anymore. The thing is, I only got my glasses in February, and already, within months, my prescription has changed. It’s really annoying because I bought my glasses for £90 and that’s a lot of money to spend on something that’s now not usable and didn’t last me long. And I asked about getting them reglazed and just new prescription lenses and that costs as much as…

A pretty self explanatory post really, here’s a collection of photos of the outfits I’ve been wearing for work lately! I’m actually fairly surprised at myself that I own so many bloomin’ dresses. This is only a small number of them. My little neice counted my wardrobe dresses for me recently and counted 176! I thought she miscounted, so I double checked for her.. she was right.. eek! Happy Weekend Everyone! It’ Saturday woo! Here’s a work outfit I wore last week to the office. I’ve been dying to get my hands on this dress! I felt so lucky to find it in Primark in Hanley when I was up north visiting Terri, but when I got it home I realised the zip was faulty! This cute little dress is only £15, and although it’s a…

This blog post is basically all photos, not much content. But look at my beautiful new coat! I don’t have much else to say about it except I love it! It’s not the warmest of coats (it’s thinner than I was expecting), and it certainly wasn’t one of my usual bargains, but I’m still thrilled to bits with it. It’s a gorgeous bright shade of pillar box red (not the dark shade as shown on the website), and I feel like Little Red Riding Hood (without the hood). Obviously the main appeal of this to me was the bows.. I…

I was recently asked to participate in a fun project by Marks & Spencers; their vintage era lingerie styling project. They selected me as a blogger (yipee!) and the idea was to pick a lingerie set that would provide the perfect basis for creating a vintage silhouette. I tried to base my look on the 40’s/50’s era, with a small waistline and flared skirt. To sculpt my silhouette, I wore the stunning M&S lingerie pieces I’d chosen, which included a longline retro bra and stockings. I picked the Limited Collection Floral Lace Longline Bra because I’ve found in the past…
