My newest Asian shop clothing review comes to you from Mart of China! Can you tell I’m Chinese fashion obsessed?! Despite the rather unappealing shop name, Mart of China does sell some fabulous fashion items and clothing. Infact, I want to show you my new favourite boots that I received from them, as well as this cute knitted dress.
The knitted Peter Pan lace collar dress is only £10, and comes in this lovely green colour or a brick red/orange shade. I fancied trying a new colour and I’m glad I did as I really like it! It’s perhaps not the best quality dress, as the waistline seems to have been stitched rather loosely. It’s much shorter than I expected, even though I ordered a size large, but I’m wearing it here with proper leggings (not my usual tights) as I felt it’s more of a tunic or a top than a dress. It’s a shame it’s so short on me as I really love the collar detail!
It came with a white belt, and also a little bow on the collar, but I removed both of these and exchanged the belt for a black skinny one. Overall I like the dress and I will be keeping it and wearing it again with leggings, as I especially love the lacey collar. I may also wear it with a longer skater skirt over the top so it looks just like a knitted sweater! Either way I really like that it has long sleeves and is a nice thick fabric for a dress for winter.

Now onto my new love! These fur cuff wedge boots are only
£9!
Nine Great British pounds! Can you believe that? Half the price of anything similar in Primark, and you can’t buy anything for less than a tenner in Topshop. I’m not sure what lured me into these boots, as the photos on the website make them look a little odd with the cuffs up. But I’m so glad I picked these as they are just gorgeous in real life and so lovely to wear! You can buy these in an orangey tan colour, black, or camel (which I picked). They have a really nice suede look which I love for footwear!
The fur goes all the way inside the boots and all over the inside soles. They’re sooo snug and warm to wear, and they’re really comfortable too. Yesterday I wore them for a long day of Christmas shopping, and they did the job perfectly. The heel is perfect for me as I don’t like really high shoes, but flats aren’t so flattering. I like boots with a rubber sole as I find them more ‘squishy’ and comfortable to wear than a hard heel.
They also appear to be really good quality, although the heel came a little loose, my handy Dad glued the edges. The fur doesn’t all fall off, and the laces are waxy and thick so should be long lasting. I’m a size UK5 and ordered size 38, and unfortunately Asian footwear usually only goes up to a size UK6, so no good if you’ve got larger feet. But they are true to size and fit really nicely. And you can’t go wrong for £9 really!

My items from Mart of China came much quicker than other Asian stores, and I recieved the parcel in just over a week! I’m not sure if I just got lucky, but I was very impressed. Also, delivery isn’t free, but it’s only £2-3. I am really beginning to fall in love with Asian fashion stores!
What do you think of these items? Do you ever buy from overseas?

Wow this is so pretty on you! What amazing value as well!

I love the dress, gorgeous colour and the collar is super pretty too! The boots look lovely and cosy, shame they wouldn't fit my huuuuge feet haha.
Jesss xo
Thanks! Yes it is a shame they only go up to a 6 🙁 x
The dress is very cute, but I did think it was a bit short. If it was a jumper, it'd look even cuter.
Do you have to pay customs if you order overseas?
Naomi xxx
I havent had to pay any customs fees ever 🙂 xx
I've sort of avoided it, because I thought there were loads of import costs! Although like Lucy, I'm quite tall and have quite big feet too!
Would definitely try some jewellery though, have you bought any accessories from China?
Naomi xxx
That is so inexpensive! Its a shame I have size 8 feet and am super tall aha. Great finds though, they really suit you 🙂

I love the dress, especially the collar, it's so pretty 🙂
Those boots look amazing too,
