I had these nails a few weeks ago and took photos and then completely forgot to do a little post about them! Oops. But here they are.. candy striped nails using pastel colours for spring. I used a fine nail art brush from eBay
(you can buy a set of 6 for only £1.50 and I really recommend them!) and then used various nail polish brands and colours over the top of the Ciate Strawberry Milkshake base coat.

I love these nails, I think I'll get some of these brushes since they are so cheap. Do you need a steady hand? I find it a lot easier to use my dotting tool than anything else so sometimes I think it really helps to have the right tool for the job.

these are cute! You should try striping tape- you get it off of ebay for like a pound and it makes stripes SO much neater and easier! I've only used it twice but it's going to change my life! (yes I'm that sad…)
