On Sunday, the weather was nice and warm for my sisters Baby Shower, so I used this as an excuse to wear something pretty. I bought this dress about 4 years ago, from Peacocks. I remember it was reduced from £16 to £8, but I had no where to wear it at the time. However, over the years I've managed to wear it a few times: dinner in London, graduating Disney University, and for the baby shower. I don't normally keep my clothes for so long, but this is such a pretty and classical design, I think I will keep it for many years to come.
It has two layers of a sheer chiffon fabric, with floaty angel sleeves, and a deep V neck. Luckily for me, I don't have much in the chest department, so this dress didn't look inappropriate. It also has a cinched waist, and a floaty skirt which is flirty short, but not mini. Once again, I wore it with my white Primark sandals!
Dress: Peacocks (old) | Sandals: Primark
What do you think of my outfit? Personally it's probably my favourite dress!

ReplyDeleteThat's a gorgeous dress. I seem to have so many clothes that have lasted me for years and some I seem to discard after a few months. I love finding that I'm getting a lot of wear out of pieces of clothing! x
