Liz Earle Signature Foundation in Ivory and Brush ♥

Liz Earle surprised me with another little package of luxurious cosmetics last week. This time I received their Signature Foundation, and a foundation brush. 

Their silky formula foundation offers easy-to-build coverage and glides on easily to give a smooth finish. It also provides an even, natural-looking complexion. The foundation is very buildable and blendable, and it contains a special mix of spherical particles and coated pigments that offer long-lasting colour. It is also enriched with natural source vitamin E.

The foundation comes in a sturdy frosted glass 25ml bottle, with a white plastic pump-action dispenser.  It also comes with a branded Liz Earle lid, and comes packaged in a card box.

The shade that I was sent is Ivory. This is the second lightest shade available, from a total of 9 shades. This fair shade suits fair skin tones with yellow undertones. It’s a little bit light for me, as I have more of a Mediterranean skin tone with yellow-olive undertones (I’m half Maltese).

 The Liz Earle Foundation Brush is curved to help you apply and blend foundation for an even finish. The rounded shape allows expert application to those harder-to-reach places around the nose, chin and under eyes. 

The cut and shape of the brush has been uniquely designed by make up artists to help achieve professional results. Each hair is both individual in length and cut to help pick up and apply just the right amount of product. The two-tone brush head is made from 100% man-made fibres so is animal-friendly, and the clear acrylic handle gives the brush a clean, stylish design.
