Shabby Chic Cupcakes from Lady of Vintage Bakery ♥

One of my lovely advertisers, Lady of Vintage, very kindly offered me some of her gorgeous homemade cakey bakes to try out. Of course, I welcomed such an offer, as I am not one to turn down cake!
Lady of Vintage Bakery is inspired by all things vintage, shabby chic and retro. They specialise in an array of authentic sweet and savoury treats from the 1950’s along with modern cupcakes, cake pops and muffins. They began as a humble little blog; all about a 50’s housewife inspired lifestyle. Her regular baking posts soon became more and more popular, and from there, they took their cakes to vintage and craft fairs, and then set up the ‘Lady of Vintage Bakery’.
They are based in Birmingham, West Midlands, and they offer free delivery for events up to 30 miles away. They create a range of cakes and bakes for any occasion: weddings, baby showers, PR events etc. They can also make you a dessert table! Check out their menu to see more of what they can do!

Lady of Vintage Bakery is also generously offering 4 FREE cupcakes with every order made.. just mention my blog when ordering! Just email contact@ladyofvintage.com to order.

So here’s some of the gorgeous and breath taking cupcakes that I was sent! My parents and I were so impressed when the courier delivered them to us! They came packaged up in pretty pink boxes and wrapped with polka dot bows. They were in perfect condition.. they have sourced a very good courier to deliver these!
As you can see, I received 6 intricately decorated couture cupcakes, each with a different vintage style design. They were vanilla cupcakes with fondant icing on top, in the prettiest shabby chic designs. Lady of Vintage Bakery do their cupcakes in a range of flavours, including my favourites: chocolate, red velvet, oreo, lemon and carrot!

Look at each of the individual vintage cupcake designs:

I love the cameo head and the roses! So beautiful and such cute colours too. And when it got down to eating them (which was such a shame as they’re so pretty!) they tasted as good as they looked! This one had a deliciously soft vanilla sponge and a thin topping of icing. Perfect!

I will also be posting about the other baked goodies Lady of Vintage Bakery sent me very soon! Check out their website to find out more!
