So, packing for a trip to the country is harder than you may think. I don’t really have many outdoor-sy type clothing, so I found it pretty tough to pack my bag. I decided to buy some low-cost stuff for the trip, as we were only spending 3 days there, I didn’t want to spend a lot of money. So here’s an overview of the things I packed to wear. I’m not sure I need it all!
Polka dot pac a mac, £3 from Home Bargains. To keep the rain off! Pretty and cheap!
Three pairs of thermal socks, £3 from Sports Direct. To keep my tootsies warm.
Weatherproof jacket, reduced from £35 to £13 from TK Maxx. I don’t have a proper coat so thought this would be good to keep me warm.
Apparently, I need waterproof trousers incase it rains. £6 off eBay.
Fleece top, £25 reduced to £5 from TK Maxx. To keep me snug!
Seal Skin waterproof gloves, £1.50 from charity shop.
Walking boots, £13 from Lidl! The most attractive value booties I could find. Hopefully I won’t need to wear them.
Navy quilted jacket, £30, Dorothy Perkins.
Hunter welly socks, courtesy of Hunter.
Hunter Welly Boots, courtesy of Hunter.
Knitted snood, £3, H&M. Love this!
Gilets, £4 each, charity shop.
Head bands, £1.50 each from Primark. Hat was from the Clothes Show a few years ago!
Fleecey tights, £3 from Primark.
And these are 3 outfits that I plan to wear! No ugly stuff for me, just layers of normal clothes with waterproofs on top if it rains!
