The Kate Middleton Polka Dot Dress – £12.99 Dupe ♥

I’m sure it wasn’t just me that fell in love with Kate Middletons beautiful outfit which she wore twice recently whilst attending an event being 7 months pregnant. The white and black polka dot dress is believed to be from Topshop, which retailed for £38 and sold out within an hour of her stepping out in public. I think she looks amazing in everything and I really love her style, but this outfit I especially love! I’m not usually a ‘celeb’ fashion follower but I saw a really similar dress in H&M and it was so cheap it would have been rude not to buy it.

The H&M version of the dress was only £12.99 and is made from a more casual cotton, rather than the thinner, swishy polyester Topshop one. But the print is practically the same, and the shape is very similar except the H&M one is sleeveless, and the Topshop version has little cap sleeves. I wore my one to work the other day and I even received a compliment, calling it ‘the famous dress’!

Also the cute little black sheer blouse is from Mart of China which I was sent a few weeks ago. It’s perfect to wear over dresses in the summer when a cardigan is too thick. It’s only £3.89 and is in stock in pink, which I also have, and navy blue. Sorry there’s so many photos.. me and Merlin were having a whale of a time playing out in the sunshine! He’s an indoor cat so doesn’t get to go out without supervision, so when I go out in the garden with him he is so happy! Isn’t he big now?
