Sheer Polka Dot Dress OOTD ♥

I was a little bit ill the other day, and rather than staying comfy and slobbish in my pyjamas, I thought it might make me feel better if I dressed myself up and went out for a bit! It actually did perk me up, so I went out for a spot of window shopping to create my birthday wish list! I went for a stroll around the shopping centre, and I decided to wear this cute dress that I was sent from Asian store Clothing Loves.

It’s a different style and shape to what I usually wear, but I picked it because I wanted to try something a little different to normal. It’s midi length and has a slight slit up the front which shows a little bit of leg. It’s quite a dressy piece, so I tried to dress it down by wearing it with casual tan accessories: belt, sandals, and handbag. 

 

It’s made from a sheer black fabric with cute little polka dots all over, and an elasticated waist. It’s a see through fabric, but the dress is lined underneath. The neckline is quite high, which I like, which keeps it looking sophisticated and not like a holiday dress. 

 

I’m not really sure if the dress suits me or not, but it’s really comfortable and easy to wear so I will definitely be wearing it again. It’s one of those ‘one size’ only dresses, which I wasn’t sure if it would fit me, as Asian clothing can come up small, but this fits me fine! 🙂 Available to buy for only £7.20 from Clothing Loves, and the dress is surprisingly good quality for the price!
