Back to School OOTD ♥

I’ve worn this skirt three times in the last 10 days because I loooove it so much! I got it recently from Primark for only £8, and I thought it would make a nice change to my normal flouncy floral stuff. I’m no punk chick, but the girly flared shape and style of this appealed to me, and the simple black and grey colours mean I can dress it in different ways.
The first time I wore it, I wore it to work with a plain black tshirt tucked in with black ballet pumps, and then the second time I wore it to work, I wore it with this burgundy leotard and matching burgundy ballet pumps. I did wear it without tights to work, and it is a little short, but ho hum. I then wore it with tights and my amazing Clarks booties (which I still love as they are the most comfortable footwear ever).
The skirt has a little bit of school girl feel to it, and teamed with my new Nica satchel, I feel almost 12 again! It’s called the Alicia satchel bag in tan, and I love the delicate embossed floral detail around the edge. It’s really well made and appears durable and good quality. It looks like it could be a designer handbag, slightly Marc Jacobs inspired.
It has a faux leather look to it, and is finished with bronze metal features on the clasp and buckle. The inside of the bag is lined with a pretty autumnal pattern in green and burnt orange. The bag is actually very practical, as it has various pockets and seperate compartments! Perfect for as daily work (or school!) bag. I love tan coloured bags because I think they go with any outfit, especially in winter months.

  1. Be carefully with the clasp, me and my mum both bought nica bags and on both of them the clasp broke. My mum swapped hers (tkmaxx have a great returns policy) and the clasp on the new one broke too…

  2. I am in love with that bag.
I miss having a satchel bag and when a decent payday comes, I will be finding another one!

  3. Basically in love with your skirt and bag! I love finding awesome pieces that I can wear a ton (I definitely have a few staples in my closet)
